You would think that with the DWI and endangering the welfare of a minor x 2 would have woke her up. It does not matter to her about driving. Look what she did 2 Friday's ago. Drove home drunk past her curfew, Oh! wait she had John following her to protect her. She would not even call me to come get her then.

I would go if for no other reason than to satisfy your curiousity about who will be there and how she will act there. One last hurrah together. It sounds like a Mid Life Crisis going on in some form.

IMHO MLC is a cop out for people. I do not know what it is, but I am no longer going to deal with it all.

Then FOLLOW her tonight. When she gets ready to leave in her drunken stupor, YOU call the cops. That's how my WH got busted. Someone saw him driving erratically on the tollroad, called the cops, and then followed him until the cops arrived and arrested him. He never even knew he was being followed, he was too loaded! And if luberboy gives her a ride or follows her, you can bet he'll have had a few too. Get both of them at the same time.

Your wife needs to suffer some consequences!

my FWW went through a completely unexplained out of character excessive drinking period for about six months ... falling down drunk, incoherent angry babbling ... and her drunken ONS on a girls only vacation occurred during this period. It also seemed to cease just as quickly as it came on with probably a dozen or so episodes over a 6 month period. It is still one of the unanswered questions that I simply don't understand where it came from and why it started and stopped. I've asked her about it, and she can't/won't provide any answers to this "out of character" behavior of hers.

Just to add - My Rev hit a nerve personally with this. I cannot explain my wife in her early to mid 40's (2003 through 2006) as well.

My wife cannot explain nor even believes why she was drunk all over Dallas and hanging with other men during the dark times. I am glad it ended. I too - think MLC is a copout. Not sure what was going around in her head at the time.

I have to agree that your WW is a strange one with her gaslighting. At least my WW would have no part of me during the dark times.

Update and I am sure you all will find this very interesting. whe I got home on 12/31 my ww asked me if I was going. I had thought about after we all talked and decided I would go. So we get to the party and there are not very many people there. OM was not there. So we are all just standing around a bon fire talking. I kind of just went on my own and let ww do whatever she wanted, but keeping a close eye open. I was talking to another guy about my sitch. This guy told me that my fraternity brothers house that we were at his wife had cheated on him about 3 times. And jsut a few months ago they got remarried. He told me that the last time she ran off to Florida for 6 months they got divorced and just recently got remarried. This is the same girl that invited my wife to this party. I thought that was pretty interesting. Yesterday morning on the way home my ww told me that I ignored her all night. I told her no I did not I just let her do her thing. I told her that I did not even want to go I just went because she wanted to. She kept on about it and another of the conversations about OM and her A broke out. And then conversations about OM1, the drinking and driving, etc. broke out. My ww told me that I will not find anyone out there that is going to fit my mold as a wife. I asked her what mold that was. She said a cookie cutter wife whatever in the he77 that is supposed to mean. I told her there is someone out their that I can trust, depend on, and believe in. I told her that she would not find anyone out there that is going to put up with the sh@# she is putting me through, unless they do it as well. I finally told her that if you did not want me to go then you should have taken John. She said she wanted me to go that is why she asked. I left the converstaion with I will never understand how you can tell me you love me and tell him that also. We got home around 1PM and she layed onthe couch all day long. Hung over I guess. I did not speak another word to her the rest of the day. I am just so tired of this mess.

Then last night around 8:30PM ww toxic friend (Liz) the friend that my ww got drunk at her house and drove home with the kids and got the DWI called. She said I want to talk to you. She know I do not like her and this seemed very unusual to me. I asked her what do you want. she told me I am sorry for all of the trouble I have caused you two. She said I am finally done with my husband. She went on to say that her H had moved a girl in with her and bought her a car. I told her just like this "Liz, I have my own problems and you know that" She said you do? What problems? I said look Liz do you want to talk to ww. She said yes. I told my ww she had a phone call she asked who it was and I told her drunk Liz. They talked for a few minutes. It jsut amazes me how all of a sudden that my ww wants to associate herself with peolple like this.

Then last night when she came to bed she wanted to hold on me all night long. This morning after I got up and came back into the bedroom to take my shower she wanted me to lay back down in the bed while she held on me. Then I get to work and there is a message on my phone. I do not know what is going on here. I did purchase a trackstick (gps) and have it hidden in her car. Any thoughts about all of this.

I think she's noticing you pulling away and has enlisted her fellow syncophants and wayturds into snowblowing you further.

If she TRULY cared about you and the girls, she'd have cut ties with stolemeat (John) a heckuva long time ago.

Real wives don't hang with people their husband's think are toxic.

In fact, REAL WIVES (and husbands) don't EVER put themselves into a position that their spouse has to question.

True marriages are made up of two people who have NO PROBLEMS with putting up boundries to protect their kith and kin.

We see that YOU have boundries...where are hers?

Yes, I have set my boundaries and she know what those are. If you tell her there are boundaries in a marriage she will tell you no there are not, and then say she does not have any boundaries and none is going to place any boundaries on her. a real wife to her I guess would be a cookie cutter wife. A wife to me you can depend on, trust, and beleive in. I have to go to meet the k9 unit at noon today. I don't know why her toxic friend Liz wanted to talk to me last night. She knows I can not stand her, and she has been some of the problem. She claims her and OM (John) are jsut "friends". I do not knwo haow many times I have heard that.

She's so full o'ca-ca I'm surprised if her eyes aren't turning brown.

(shrug) I've been called worse by better.

From one woman in her 40s to another, she needs to grow the eff up.

Any person that WILLINGLY carries a child to term and keeps it is OBLIGATED to put that child and it's family FIRST.

And any woman that doesn't needs a swift kick in the rear, imo.

Like I said, your ww has enlisted her co-misery-makers into helping her blow sunshine and rainbows in your boxers. SSDP.

(same ca-ca, different person)

Yeah? Well, any true friends I have would kick my buttocks if I sat on said hinder if I spent all my time texting while at home. And NONE of my friends would expect me or require me to do so.

Hogfan,
Its good to see that you are sticking to your guns here. Seeing as how she throws out the "Just Friends" phrase all the time, have you thought about buying that Shirley Glass book "Not Just Friends" and giving it to her. Its got a perfect title that will jump right out at her.

She probably won't read it, but its still a very informative book.

Remind me. Have you hired a PI? You need to. It's worth the money to have professional evidence of what, where, who, how - one, to scare her out of having the affair; two, to verify once and for all whether they are in fact 'just friends' to get that elephant out of the room; and three, as evidence in case you get into a custody battle. It will be money well spent. Maybe even vital.

I have done the PI thing with OM1 and OM2. The only thing I really got was OM2 setting in her car with her in the parking lot after work for 30 minutes at a time after work. I have spent enough money on PI's I have all I need personally, and the rest of my money is going to my attorney.

I believe he has used a PI, but does not currently have one employed. The PI was able to uncover enough proof to satisfy those of us here, but no undeniable proof that would stand up in the courts. I think the PI was discontinued for financial reasons.

I can call the PI at any minute. He is under contract. But in my opinion my money will be better spent on attorney.

That is what I told her yesterday during our conversation that she needs to grow the eff up. As far as the "friend" I know htat is bulls@#$. I have friends as well, and I do not text them all night long everyday. I am to the point that I do not believe a word she says, and when she tells me she loves me I do not feel it. What is a cookie cutter wife anyway.

She is just being dramatic by attempting to imply that you unreasonably want a stepford wife, as in Suzie Homemaker. That allows her to tell herself that it is not only ok for her to not meet that standard, but actually her duty not to because socially we have progressed since that time. She cant contribute to setting womankind back can she? Blah blah blah.

and that is not what I want at all. I want someone I can trust, depend on, and believe in. That is all. But I guess that is to much for her to do.

Just returned from the house meeting the k9 unit. There was nothing found insid the house. That is a relief, but that is not to say that it could be in her vehicle or her purse. none of this behavior is adding up to me at this time. Wife left me a message while I was gone. Just wanted to tell you I was thinking about you and I love you was the message.
