Thats good that she is apparently starting to see the light, but please understand that your work is only beginning. Be vary wary of her placing this on OM and saying she was "duped by a sociopath". That is her divesting herself of the ultimate responsibility for her actions. She needs to understand that it never would have happened, regardless of who the OM was, if she did not have piss poor boundaries.

I think the best thing you can do is send her here to start her own thread or start counseling with the Harley's. Be very wary of what an average therapist will tell her. They do NOT have a good track record in marriage counseling.

Please note a couple of things:

OM's tears were fake - at least he used them to get an impression conveyed to you.

As for your wife, never mind about the slow adaption to change, look how quick she was trying out a new relationship.
