Of course not- I'm not sure anyone was suggesting that at all. God never promises us that things will always be perfect- just that He will be with us through it all. If everything was fair in life children would never die from cancer or be molested or abused, people would not murder, steal or cheat on their spouses. Unfortunately we live in an imperfect world. Yet there are still plenty of good people out there.

What you've been through is terrible and I think you've had every right to be angry. Yet at what point is it damaging to you personally to continue to carry that anger??

My mother severely abused me and allowed my stepfather to do so-but I led her to Christ later in life. I'm not saying this to brag at all but I was concerned about her salvation and her eternal life. I forgave her. I didn't forget but I forgave. I had to for my own sanity.

What I'm irrevocably angry about is my church treating XW like the VICTIM and me as the AGRESSOR in all of this.

Pariah,

It was probably a case of her getting to them first, setting the stage for you to be some crazed jealous out-of-control maniac, and having an inside connection to the staff. Basically, she was family and you became an outsider. They sided with family and shut you out.

Has NOTHING to do with God, Christ or any other church and not even much to do with this church as it has more to do with the people who lead the church, poorly I should say...

Churches are just full of sinners.

At least the good ones are.

The ones that aren't, are full of liars...

Greeeeeeaaaaat, their actions are excusable. Well, at least they are already forgiven and by the rule book I am held accountable if I don't.

I already met the Man himself.

I no longer need a church building to attend.

I got a blast from both barrels from good old church sinners.

They absolutely had no conscience or conviction over turning me out to the wilderness.
