You hit the nail on the head! Having said nothing about my sons, I rest easy in that case. However, I'm living in dread that one of the nails is going to hit back!:MrEEk: tl

Oh nails are easy tl... no problem at all.. I always use a Ball Pein (don't blame me its what they are called) Hammer, Hickory Handle, 24 oz Head (still haven't changed to metric yet) ... one whack of that and the nail goes back in right as rain!!!!!!! Of course if you are not used to wielding heavy hammers your hand... wrist... and arm may feel very sore ,,, but you know what they say .... no gain without pain !!! and those nails will have been really whacked Thanks for the happy anniversary wishes .... I can't believe we forgot it again!! Either we are blissfully happy or totally dysfunctional :crosseyedcrazy: ... maybe both However we made up for it with a roast lamb dinner .... and I forgot to cook only one leg so we have extras... lots of extras ... if you are hungry .... anyone ?? potatoes .. roast potatoes coming out of every nook and cranny ... The girls took off to do girlie things at the girlie table at the Sunday session at the local bar. Jim is the designated driver or the skipper in charge. So it will be all ok just dancing and music. hah ... wanna bet Meanwhile the two 'honeymooners' slipped 'neked' into the spa and the rest is far too much information for you young people to hear I was sound asleep for 3 hours (out of the spa I thought I'd make that clear)when the dogs barking woke me to the sound of the return of the merry meddlers (well they meddled with my sleep) providing a sterling rendition of 'Dancing in the Dark' as they did a train dance through the front door because they couldn't find the front gate to get in the back way as normal. Jim had told them to wait until he parked the car in the drive way but ONE particular trouble maker screamed out .. across the neighbourhood ... at 4.00am ... We don't wait for no stinkin car parking lets go - This guns for hire even if were just dancing in the dark I wonder if Bruce Springsteen would accept a mothers apology. I wonder if the neighbourhood will blame someone else OMG Mikeys awake now. Where's MY mummy??????????

"Offending parts removed at a reasonable cost - well reasonable to the Dr" :MrEEk: just advertising for Dr Liz so she can pay for the alcohol in her Pub Crawl across Ireland... oh sorry sorry ..... I mean her cultural heritage tour in the folk history precincts of each town.. inn ... bus stop ... in Ireland. Rella how you been?

Poor Rella. "If you can't wait, amputate." That's what I always sez. And AJ was reading and about the Pub Tour last night.

You know, having your parts 'wear out' is taxing.....annoying....no fun.... Really, 2+ weeks of this is enough. Once a month for a week was ok....really. It was fine. The more estrogen you have, the better your body can oxygenate your blood, the better it can assimilate calcium, and the stronger your bones can remain.
That 6 week period last summer was no fun. Not having a period for 6 months WAS fun. Now, at 2.5 weeks, I'm getting tired of this. Could I just wave a magic wand and get those hormones back where I want them. I don't want to take medication to keep things 'flowing' like normal.

that's alright for AJ ... just wait until HIS daughter is 17/18 ... no just wait until she is 16 and there are boys around ... then I'll ask him to again!!!!!! Rella falling apart is natural .... that's what all the medical experts tell me .... usually male doctors

I think I may have to go hurt someone if this happens again....I have better things to do than deal with the potential for anemia for months at a time!
BTW, I think you might need to get that little lady of yours a chastity belt...then go along to take care of the key! She does remember that she's married, doesn't she? Maybe you should, in addition to taking the key with you, carry a life-size picture of her hubby with you when you escort her into each and every pub, bar, tavern, taverna, club, restaurant, or anywhere else she goes.

BTW, I think you might need to get that little lady of yours a chastity belt...then go along to take care of the key! I don't think its a real risk as such... not deliberate ... BUT its the environment of the music world you need to be careful of at times.. the drugs and people slipping stuff into drinks etc.. by the way I LOVE your suggestion !!!!!! I wonder who makes them????? And I put a LOT of hubby photos in the suit case already See I TOLD you all here is the aisle that Kangaroos are dangerous Skippy is dangerous

I saw that on the internet yesterday and meant to post it. I don't think I'd want Skippy hopping into my house. Meanwhile, I think Liz might need a lifesize cutout of dear hubby to take with her. Here's some info..... and some more!

Last night, I had trouble sleeping...don't know why. Just did.
This morning, the first thing I heard on NPR was about the shooting at the high school in southwest Germany.
My daughter was in Germany for 3 weeks last summer and we hosted a German student for 3 weeks last fall.
All I could think of was....."Where is that in relationship to J"
So, I rushed to the den and booted up the computer. Went to CNN and their map didn't help much....I knew the name of the town J lives in but couldn't place it on the map......Fortunately, she wasn't in the town where the shooting took place but she was in that general area.....Maybe 50-75 miles away.
Still a little weirded out over the coincidence and the sadness of what happened.

Now, at 2.5 weeks, I'm getting tired of this. Could I just wave a magic wand and get those hormones back where I want them. I don't want to take medication to keep things 'flowing' like normal. It's easy ... really it is. You need one month pack of birth control pills. Levora or Levlen will work just fine. You get 21 pills. You take 3 a day for 1 week (skip the dummy pills) What you've got is DUB (dysfunctional uterine bleeding) otherwise known as anovulatory bleeding Very common right before menopause. Your uterus gets ready for an egg to ovulate - no egg ovulates , so your uterus lining continually weeps blood until it gets a hormone signal which tells the lining when to stop thickening. (may take months before you ovulate again, and you will be weak and anemic in the meantime) ... if you send the signal via the birth control pills , this is what happens ... the lining of the uterus denudes and gets really really thin, and you won't bleed any more (for awhile, usually months) If you do take the birth control pills for a week and you do not stop bleeding - you need a biopsy sounds like fun doesn't it?
