Looking, this is an understatment. Not just 1,500 firefighters, but mostly all of them men, gorgeous, fit and handsome. I was the only single one in our group and everytime Lil wanted to check on Flick I was only to happy to accomodate and walk around. Sightseeing inside was NEVER this good before.

Looking, you are so right, that booth next to us, got first hand 101 on affairs. Oh how I would love to been watching them or listened to their conversation.

YumYum, Queenie. I looked at the photos on the SeattleTimes site. They did look good. But it seemed like they were all very exhuasted!

Our Flick made it to the top in very good time. In fact, (don't tell him), it would have taken me his time to climb 3 flights. Gotta get more exercise.

But we can all be PROUD of these firefighters who participated so that others can live.

It was quite a sight! Many of the firefighters had pictures of their family or those they knew who they were doing the climb for on their sleeves or helmets.

Some of the firefighters looked younger than my sons!

Were they going shooting today?

Well, we tried, tried tried but it looks like the shooting isn't going to happen. Lil & Flick got delayed on Monday and we had to reschedule for tomorrow.....but the instructor called me a while ago to cancel because of illness. I did just talk to Lil who is at Disneyland today with Flick and T2L. They all spent the afternoon and evening at our house last night and we had a nice visit.

And then there are those smaller birds - bigger than lorries (parakeets) than come in grey or white - and they are called cockatiels.

Chrys - Really, it is probably just as well. Now I can relax.............

LOL yep when I talked about looking to buy a female dog that got censored... and also when I talked about a certain breed, rhymes with spocker caniel.

Good Morning from sunny California, and the bedroom of T2L.

Disney was a blast, I made T2L-DS do a ride he was very reluctant to, and have probably traumatised him for life LOL.

Flick did his climb in just over 22 mins, I'll get him to post his actual time since I cant remember the seconds.

Today we are going to do some sightseeing things since the shoot is off, darn it, was looking forward to taking Flick to the range...with 3 crazed women!



L4, you are a hoot! Queenie, you are such a sweet woman. JT, you are so wise, you put me in awe. I loved the get together, it was a blast and helped me immensely. I loved what we did to the neighboring table, all 101 ways we freaked them out

Crysalis, thank you so much for picking us up, it was so good of you to do that. Next time your in NZ we will make the guys cook the BBQ!

I enjoyed hanging out with you, Queenie and Looking4. I'm glad I got to see Flick and some of the other Kiwis as they readied to go up the tower. I was also able to get home before my OS headed back to college so it was a good day overall.
