I will be praying for him. Two years ago, I did a half marathon with Team in Training and raised over $2000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This year, I am doing the same race but am raising money for Gilda's Club - which provides free support for cancer patients and their families and friends. There is a GILDA'S CLUB in Seattle. The goal of Gilda's Club is to provide social and emotional support to patients and their loved ones. They charge nothing for their services. It is named for Gilda Radner, the comedienne/actress, who died of ovarian cancer.

thank you so much everyone!  okay, I'm done now. For a minute. (crying that is) His name is Nigel. Your prayers mean more than you could ever know, to me. I believe he will get through this. We are waiting for a pet scan to be scheduled and away we go. This has hit us really hard. We (the family) will have to come to a 'come to Jesus' meeting soon, and figure out how we will help him through this. It will be hard, but I have faith. I am humbled by your support. Update: Insurance won't pay for chemo and radiation at Fred Hutch.  So . . . please pray that we get a good chemotherapist here in Walla Walla. Haven't been too impressed with what they have done so far. Thanks all. Love in Christ, Miss M
