GH,

I have not posted to you before. My FWH and I both recently retired from the military and we definitely understand the impact of deployments. I think the Baron's advice is right on target.

Best wishes on your return and for your marriage.

Well...here we are a year after discovering my wife had an affair while I was deployed and I've just caught her again. This time she was with friends at a convention and while drunk had two separate one night stands. Additionally, after coming home she got drunk while out with friends and was kissing an acquaintance of ours while dirty dancing in a bar.

I'm struggling with this...I want to work this out with her, there are four young kids involved. She is repentant (pls dont laugh) and has sworn off drinking. She wants to stay but is growing tired of my obsessing over this. We fought tonight. It was bad. We have been seeing a counselor that is helping her with some issues but its not doing much for me.

Thoughts?

Call the Harleys. For you- and if she really wants to fix this, make it a condition. She is not in a position to negotiate.
