she said she would hate me if I took that away from her when shes so close to completing it. You didn't take anything away from her. This a consequence of HER actions. Don't protect her from it.

I am so glad to hear that you confronted her. A couple of points if I may. Its time to call the OM again and this time tell him. IF HE CALL YOUR WIFE ONE MORE TIME. YOU WILL CALL BOTH THE COMPANY AND HIS WIFE. You will see that he is fired for sexual harrassment, and you will sue the company. You will then call his wife. IT IS TIME TO PROTECT YOUR WIFE AND GET UP IN THIS JERKS GRILL AND LAY DOWN THE LAW. YOU HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO GAIN SOME OF YOUR WIFE'S RESPECT BACK. DO IT!
As far a your wife being concerned about your invasion of privacy. You have to get up in her grill a little. YOU LITERALLY HAVE TO ASK HER THIS QUESTION. "DO YOU THINK I WOULD HAVE EVER INVADED YOUR PRIVACY IF I DIDN'T FIND THAT HOTEL RECEIPT. YOU MAY BE MAD ABOUT ME SNOOPING, BUT I ASK YOU THIS QUESTION. WHAT SHOULD I HAVE DONE, KNOWING THAT YOU HAD SEX WITH A MAN AND WOULD ONLY LIE ABOUT IT?"
