It's not just you. Everyone does this. Schnarch says this is a NORMAL stage in marriage. Wow, I can relate to this. When my DH left, I was LOST. I could NOT imagine life without him in it. I was stumbling day to day. Funny thing, is that's exactly how DH describes the time he was gone, "he'd lost his identity."

I, too, can relate to this. I said over and over to him "who am I without you?" and, sadly, I meant it. My individuality had become blurred over the years, and I didn't even realize it. It was a slap in the face big time (and a wake up call) to know that I'd been cut out of his life which I thought was essentially MY life.
