I'm no expert. I haven't done cbt and I haven't had IC. Also, I live in England, and I don't know whether therapists practice in the same way where you are as here.

It's just that I like what I read about behavioural therapies, and I have read good things about cbt. I know it has had some success with obsessive behaviour, as well as with obsessive thinking patterns. I understand it to be a practical way of refocusing your thoughts (or a practical way of changing obsessive, repetitive, harmful behaviour, if that's the problem).

I have lived through the hell of several D Days and a serious loss of self-confidence, and I can't bear to hear how you are suffering now.

How about doing some cbt research on the web, as a start?
