Congratulations, and enjoy all that freed up time!

You will still have internet there, won't you? Otherwise, I'm with SC. You can't go!

Don't get smart with me, missy. I drove there this summer. We got a bit lost on the industrial estate with the offices of all those companies.

Okay, so there are signs that that might be one or two ISPs in the area. However, just check before you go that they have not got their signals scrambled or anything.

I could not get a decent cup of coffee in 3 days in Seattle, so I know what I'm talking about.

Pep,

If you retire to the Bay Area perhaps we can get together sometime. 30 years???? Congratulations. Retirement is a big step. What are you going to do with your spare time?

All I really wish for you is for you to have fun and a rewarding retirement.

Sure JL we can toast my retirement once we move.

Mr Pep & I are thinking of starting a small business. We'll see.
I'll be very busy remodeling the house for awhile.
It's a cute house, with ONE bathroom.

Retiring ..... wow! hurray
Good for you.

30 yrs. is a long time in the business, I have no doubt you have paid your
dues and then some.

That's great that you have a focus for this next stage of life. (gee, that sounds hokey pokey crazy)
I do think it's important though.
And ..... your plans sound fabulous, all very exciting. dance2

If the new business thing doesn't pan out, here's a thought .......
I work with this amazing gal, she's 67, retired a few yrs. ago and then came back as casual.
She works when she wants, and exactly what side of the dept. she wants.
She absolutely loves it. Her experience in nursing is invaluable.

You know what they say, once a Florence, always a Florence!

Best of luck to you Pepperband. smile

RETIRE??!??....WOW......

Congradulations Pep!!!!

Well, IF you get bored remodeling, and the new business stuff doesn't quite go the way you plan you could always take a LONG road trip across America. Heck I bet you have more than enough MB friends you could stop and see who would gladly show you around and put you up.....there's Queenie, Princess, JT in the pacific NW. Me, Mark, and Bugs in the Midwest. Some over in the east..... You got Miss Mimi down in the south. Heck you probably have more than enough to keep ya busy for a couple of years.... Then you could start with all those foreigners!!!!

Just a thought......( don't ya all just love how I offer up eveyones home to you..... flirt)

I DO know whatever you decide it will be an adventure........

Can you imagine Pep with spare time?

Good one JL. Good one.

All the best to you Pep.

All the best.

I was in South Pasadena most of last week. I spent some time with 2long, but I should have tried to to put together a lunch or a dinner with everyone. It would have been fun. (for me anyway.)

However, I must admit, 2long is good company.
