She enjoys a comfortable lifestyle.

I need you to figure out for yourself if removing her dime would give you pleasure or just having extra cash would make you feel OK.

I think this is a loaded question...

No objection from me......That would be like that old clique about how WH's in the past got caught cheating and then would run out and buy some nice expensive jewerly....... wink

Giving her a banana cream pie in the face would might do the trick.
I actually offered to do this for a buddy in California. We envisoned his wife, merely strolling down the street, all made up to impress her latest prey. Some strange guy(me((very strange, BTW)) approaches, pulls out a pie and puts it in her mush. Then, cackling like Ernest T Bass, from Mayberry, yells "Infidelity sucks. Enjoy the pie". A buddy videotapes it and I disappear.
I offer this service to any takers if you cover expenses and my legal fees. pray

Even if your marriage "recovers", start secretly squirreling away assets. Your marriage is merely an illusion, a fantasy with a deep ugly monster lurking within as witnessed by one we all thought was a success story.

Your wife may very well be biding her time to get the most financial gain from the nuking she gives you so she can make her love nest with the man she'd rather have.

Remember when she gets your retirement, she gets the cash and you are responsible for the taxes and early withdrawal penalties.

I failed to add the $17,000 in taxes and penalties I had to pay when mine when the judge just handed it over to her unconditionally.

Dude: I'll have to agree with you on this one. Never thought I'd say that!

So, all recovered M's are merely illusions? Wow, can you get any more bitter and jaded?

Pariah, by "one" do you mean a particular story here, or is "one" generic, as in any false recovery here or in real life?

Damn, P. Didn't you guys use a Quadro(sp?). I had no such tax ramifications.

Small stinking little two horse town, judge and her sister's husband was good friends with the judge. He as an attorney that took all his cases when he got appointed as judge.

I demanded him to recuse, it was denied and I didn't even stand a chance.

He just handed her everything. I still have the final judgment as a reminder just how unethical judges are.

He ORDERED me to pay the taxes when she took my retirement.

Who the F represented you? These quadros are standard around here. I've never heard of such a thing.
I know you probably invested way too much already, P. But, have you thought of appealing this tax issue?

I got tax bills coming in where my name is still on the freaking house, but it was awarded to her.

I owed taxes on the retirement because "she wasn't capable of paying them" as she only makes $10 an hour and got awarded the house with a $1200 a month payment.

They stole my retirement to extort me from having to pay for the house she stole from me.

Unfair as hell, isn't it. Kids? If not , have you considered heading for Paraguay?
