I have a prayer request for one of my teaching partners. I teach in an alternative program and our science teacher's DH is in surgery right now for a kidney/pancreas transplant due to diabetes.
Please pray for Brian and his family.

I would also ask that board members say a prayer for our member, mmmherb. His 42 yr old brother killed himself over the weekend. His viewing is today and funeral tomorrow. His family is devastated.

12/25/06 - Dday - WH promised NC. Plan A in effect. Thought we were in recovery.
6-3-07 - Dday#2 Found out NC never took place and A never ended. Found MB NC promised again, but WH would not write NC letter.
9/07 - Dday #3. Still lying and sneaking around. Plan B implemented
WH wants nothing to do with me

He made it through surgery successfully and has been able to "make urine" (gotta love those medical terms) which means the kidney is working.

Please add my co-workers Joe and Mary.
Joe has had numerous health problems and has missed nearly a year of work - being able to work a few days in the last few weeks. Was up to 2.5 days per week until he had to have another procedure on the stints in his heart (that were inserted 3 or 4 months ago).
Less than 2 months ago, Mary had gastric bypass surgery. She had to have follow-up surgery and is in ICU w/ pnumonia after aspirating while under anesthesia.
