I think thats what you are trying to ask.

The answer is simple psychology, doing something that is "Wrong/Dangerous" can be very, very appealing/stimulating/arousing under certain circumstances.

If you have ever experienced this, you will understand what I mean. If not you may find it hard to fathom.

From what the Wookie said, it was something to do with chucking all the rest of his morality so why not these too.
