"I never drove to her campus, took her in my arms and kissed her like the world was ending." - Romeo

You can Google Romeo's above prose as an exact phrase and find his thread! How happy.

*sniff*

I sure miss that guy.

Thanks for bringing this up Chris! So where's your pic?

There's a commercial on TV that always makes me think of you (or what I imagine you look like) for some reason. It's a guy jogging down the street talking about investments? or something, I don't remember, but he talks about his grown daughter and being able to spoil daddy's girl. Anyway, big help I know and if anyone can figure out which commercial it is, let me know!! smile

Debbie Reynolds??? I always loved those "Tammy" movies. I'm gonna find one of my old pageant pics, and then ML will rue the day! You don't mess with the 1985 Miss Cinderella Teen! What does rue the day even mean???

I agree on Mrs. W's nomination
And Mark for the long posts
I'll have to think on the others

15 steps to adultery was originally posted, I think, by Suzet. I can't find it after 20 minutes of searching. If anyone has it or knows where it is, let me know, please. It as in my Wall thread, but the link there is busted now.

Yes, I copied your post to broke. How the heck did you find it so fast. I have Pep's posts bookmarked and I looked but I drew a blank for some reason.

Anyway, thank you.

Sorry - born and raised in the PRC (peoples republic of california) and wish we could afford to leave. Wyoming, colorado, montanta...someplace where my kitchen window looked out on a mountain meadow would be nice.

Wait a minute..... I'm in California and my kitchen window DOES look out on a beautiful mountain/canyon scene.....

Is Marty Feldman doing commercials?

I thought he was dead.

Well, back to business. I am having a heckofa time finding stuff on here I remember. Vibrissa helped me with one earlier. I finally found mortarman's explanation of the IG Corp. and its role in adultery and homosexuality. It took me forever and I actually stumbled across it by accident. See, what he had to say was the SECOND post on a thread and by far the most important post there.

That made it hard to find. Pep has done a great job with her notable posts. But when I go there, my eyes cross. She has them organized for her. And I ain't her. For one thing, I wouldn't wear a Beatle's T-Shirt if you put a gun to my head. smile

Early on, this site had some great record keeping of posts and a great list with what the posts were all about. Easy to find and easy to read. Now, not so much.

I think MelodyLane has a standard post she has copied somewhere to use in certain situations. That is a great idea. There is so much in common here with scripts and all, I think I am going to follow her lead and do one for myself.

Think about it.

Sure do Winger smile

That was written by Plank, a man I consider a friend. Here is his last post on this forum. He posted rarely after being here for some time and then this;

You will not be able to “teach” this guy a lesson of any sort. We’ve seen it before. He will take any supposed lesson and morph it into his personal justification to do anything he wants. You can’t counsel this sort of sick mindedness out of someone, it’s just who they are for the rest of their lives unfortunately.

In the old days, we would simply beat this guy to within an inch of his life as many times as it took to get the point across that his behavior wasn’t good for him. Sadly, now you can go to prison for that.

That aside, you have to take the next step which is good for you. I agree with Schoolbus and others that you should execute a plan B. How can you plan A someone that is involved with a demented mind like this without risking all that you have left yourself. This guy probably has nothing to lose in the equation and you have EVERYTHING to lose.

Get the damn restraining order for goodness sakes. It’s cheap, effective, and will make his life a logistical nightmare; along with causing your WW the problems of how to deal with your SD being around the guy.

Just for your notes: all OM are pieces of crap and dealing with them is as much fun as scraping crushed slugs off of the sole of your shoe.

Have you exposed to EVERYONE yet? I may have missed that.

Who knows, he may come back. I did.

Ok, I mostly note posts made by someone else. This time it was by me. A lady was venting that her husband was somewhat passive at doing the program, waiting for her to take the initiative. Here is my answer.

Quote
Men most often want their wife to be the leader in relationship stuff, mistakenly believing that women are always better at it than they are.

So lead. grin

Men hate relationship books. I dunno why. When I browse through the relationship books at the bookstore, women look at me with strange looks on their faces and you can see the gerbils running in their heads.

So lead. . .

If I want to search the forums for the Anatomy of Adultery thread:

"Anatomy" "Adultery" site:forum.marriagebuilders.com

The lists can be lengthy, but the target is usually found on the first result page.

I tried it. It works.
