And I am sure you are doing just that AGG, No doubt in my mind.
I agree with what you're saying and tend to think that because of what the betrayed have been through, that we want to be the best we can. I know I want that for myself.
And I agree again, marrying someone doesn't mean the work is done. It's a constant effort. So important to remind the other why they are significant. I know that's my plan for someday.
Good thoughts AGG

When Jim broke up with me, I gathered up everything he had at my place, packed it up and put it on his porch the next morning. I did not include anything he gave to me. I didn't want to hurt him by making him feel I didn't appreciate anything he'd done/given me. However, I did put those items out of sight so they would not pain me. I will decide what to do with them later, no hurry or need to do anything with them right now.

On my way home from work today, he sent a text message that says he put my stuff on my porch today. There's a bar of soap in one shoe (WTF?) and said, You are still wrong. Does he think you are daft?? The messages back and forth were fun, flirty, dirty, with I Miss You's. When you've seen these? Either he's not the brightest bulb in the bunch or he doesn't know what you saw..... Either way, you truly "know" him now. I've always loved the quote "The measure of a man's real character is what he would do if he knew he never would be found out." ~Thomas Babington Macaulay He's been found out and is still claiming innocence. Blech.

Gold is at an all time high...maybe send jewelery to Cash4Gold or the like and then do something fun with it!
