I went to his site, He makes sense Mel. Maybe his story and the info will compel me to do the diet and get excited about it. God knows I can use some good excitment. faint-----------------------------------------

Yet after living with diabetes for nearly sixty years, instead of being bedridden or out sick from work (or dead, the most likely scenario), I am more fit than many nondiabetics who are considerably younger than I. I regularly work 12-hour days, travel, sail, and pursue a vigorous exercise routine-------------------------------------
This is what I want to acheive also, and even if I can't do all of it, some of it will be just fine.

Thanks

I just (8 pounds) wanted to drop by (8 pounds) on the 9th day of my diet (8 pounds) and say hello. Guess how much I've lost?

Oh, you say? You don't know but would love for me to tell you, you say?

8 pounds!!!!!

39 to go. I can have fruit and veggies now. I don't think I've ever been so happy to munch down on a piece of celery.

That's 8, people.

clap Nice, TWB!

When I was on the infidelity diet, I lost about 60 lbs at my lowest. Not pretty. The average weight for my height is around 133-145. I went down to 113. It was great to get rid of the love handles (and knobs, and hinges LOL) but I had to agree that I didn't look healthy. (My MB photo shows me about halfway thru that weight loss, and I was pretty skinny then.)

Well, there's nothing like a little recovery to bring back the ol' appetite, is there. laugh I'm back up to 135. I felt my best and looked my healthiest at 125, so I've cut out a lot of carbs. I'm hoping I can report a weight loss like yours very soon.

I weighed around 130 at the height of my "manic crazy wayward idiot" diet. I'd rather have a little extra junk in the trunk to go there again!

My goal is....oops! I just realized that if I tell you my goal you can add 39 and know how much I weigh. Nope! smile

Thats brilliant Tawa, Well done!!!

In the last couple of years I've put back on about 8lbs of my 70lb that I lost the year before so I'm trying to do the 30day shred workout video most evenings now once the kids are asleep.

Its shockingly hard though for someone who really hasn't exercised in SO long.
