I just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone for their heartfelt input here. I followed the discussion intently as it directly relates to my life, and that of my family. I will post my story here soon. The last year has been about getting over the D and getting on with my life.
Many of my questions were answered just here but I will continue to seek guidance and input with my own thread as I have some additional concerns about my 9yo OC (the light and love of my life) and those concerns are intensified by a D I fought against largely with her in mind. Hopefully I can someday help others as you have.

I felt compelled to remind everyone here that your words may be intended for each other but countless others are affected and assisted along the way. I, for one, am grateful.

Optimism

Hi, Opt. It's encouraging to know that the messes we make can be used for something good. smile I'm curious to know more about your OC situation. I just now read your original thread, but it was pretty long and I didn't see details about your OC, so I'll keep my eyes peeled when you post about that. I am still wading through those waters, but this forum has saved my life.
