Thanks, CP. No falls in the last two months! smile Slowly healing although there's permanent damage, but I'm working on my ROM with stretching/strengthening exercises (still hurts). I'm amazed I've survived 9 weeks living alone with a broken right elbow. I didn't know I could!

Did I ever tell you bout my Moms broken shoulder?

About 11 years ago, when Mom was 67, she was out at bingo, and came home, but slipped on the Ice outside her house

She didn't bother going to the hospital till it stopped from sleeping. Well she went the next day lol

Just got back from visiting her, and she is 81 loving alone and still driving around and going to Bingo
She never could drive, but God must be her co-pilot

May He richly bless you

Hi GG, I am well! Still no job, but I had an interview this week. Although it is not the one, pays too low, ran by Ice Queen, no chance for advancement, too far to drive, mundane work, etc., still it is nice to know that someone read your resume and thought of you!

My son has gone back home after spending much of the summer with me...I didn't see much of him, he has a GF now, and school starts Monday so probably won't see him until the holidays and not much then. I am so happy for him that he has finally met what we think is "the one", he's waited a long time for her! It is neat to see the glow on their faces, and she has all of the qualities he has been looking for, and I love to see the interaction they have. It's weird though, in seeing this, I can't help but feel my phase has passed and now it's my kids' turns to have their lives and it makes me wonder what, if anything, is left for me in my life? I'm not old, I'm 58, so I don't want to just "wait to die" like some elderly do, it just seems so sad that my dear sweet husband had to go and die (over six years ago), I still needed him in my life. frown
