Sheba - OK, now I understand. Not so strange at all.<P>I am a descendent of the American Indian (a blonde-haired, blue-eyed descendent, but here none-the-less). I attend gatherings each year to celebrate our local tribe, even though I'm not a member. Sage is a big part of the ceremony and I have some on hand almost all the time. So using that herb makes some sense to me.<P>Never had anyone officiate before, that sounds cool. D has some cards, but neither of us knows how to read them and I've never had mine read. I'm game, though!!<P>I agree with you about the group meditation - I go it alone and I don't think I could handle a group - they'd throw me out too!!! Although I just got a new book that talks about a terrific open-eye meditation of thousands of people on a hilltop. EHHH I don't know.<P>Sounds like a great day to me. Hi Ladies -<P>It was fun, have no idea if it worked or not...I'm in a good mood....if that means anything.<P>You don't inhale the smoke...you let it wrap around your body. Sorta like when you have a campfire and the wind blows the smoke at you....That happens to me all the time!! No matter where I sit - that dang smoke follows me around at a campfire....now I know to put some sage on it and at least I'll get more out of it than running eyes and that "fire" stink!!!! LOL!!!!<P>Forgot to tell you all that I will be getting a "TRUE" branch!!!! Know what that is?<P>It's a branch (twig, really) of a bush (forgot the name...sorry) that you tie a ribbon on and hang above your door...<P>Supposedly - whoever enters your house must be true!!!! I think it means Truthful....or an honest heart.<P>My friend had put one up and it worked!!<P>She had a date come over to pick her up and he wouldn't come into the house...he stood in the little breezeway just before the doorway with the branch on it!!! Weird HUH? She told him to come in several times....but he didn't!!<P>Told them that I need a whole bush for my H....not just a twig!!! LOL!!!!<P>HUGS,<P>Sheba
