And you did need a 2x4 for omitting so much. Man up and take it!

I have nothing to apologize for, so I guess you'll continue ignoring my posts.

People who are serious about changing who they are for the betterment of their marriages is where I want to focus my attention anyways.

ETA, I also wasn't wrong. Not once. You omitted this weekend away with your OW until just recently. Lying by omission is still lying. No sweat off my back if you want to continue to be a dishonest person. This is your life and you marriage.

Yes, and there's a reason for that.

Good heavens, we can't have people judging him for that weekend, markos! MrRollieEyes

Alright , you people can judge me if you really must. All those that think I'm an a**hole, move to the left and all of those who think I'm a sweetie, move to the right. Be brutal, I can take it.

I think your perspective is not very clear, MirrorMirror.

You can be wrong without being an A hole.

We can judge your position to be incorrect.

Try to relax a little before every post.

Telling you? Do you want to rethink your response, Scotty?

I'll take that your answer to my QUESTION was "NO!!!"

I LOVe how some people enjoy mincing words. Your post gave off the vibe of trying to get us posters who were pushing MM stop with this line of posting. C'mon NG, you and I both know that was the intent of your post.

First you misrepresent what I type ("telling" vs "asking") and then you decide to tell me what my intent was!

Just to be clear: My "intent" was, acknowledging the facts that

a)MM has not asked for our opinions;
b)the opinions being provided are contrary to what he wants to hear and will accept;
c)the only evident purpose of this ongoing tirade is to provide a "Two Minute Hate" in the 1984 tradition;

to suggest that the posters might find more fruitful threads where folks WANT our help. They (you) obviously want to continue to throw spitballs at MM's wall. Okay, as I said before, "No" is a answer to my respectful question.

a)MM has not asked for our opinions;

You are absolutely correct here. He didn't. But, I am also not only offering MY opinion, I am stating the opinion of DrH, whom is the creator of THIS site, and if someone is posting here, they should be following HIS teachings. Telling other posters, through HIS thread, that it is okay to have female friends while married goes AGAINST the very program that we are upholding. Hence, you post here, you follow the rules here.

Quote
b)the opinions being provided are contrary to what he wants to hear and will accept;

MOST of the people who come here don't want to hear what we say to them, and won't accept it, at first. Does that mean we should stop posting to ALL of the people who are resistant to DrH's teaching? Again, the "opinion" that men and women shouldn't be friends with members of the opposite sex is not only MY opinion, it is DrH's. It is BAD for marriage. It is against what DrH dictates as ways to affair proof ones marriages.

Quote
c)the only evident purpose of this ongoing tirade is to provide a "Two Minute Hate" in the 1984 tradition;

Do you mean to tell us OUR purpose now? wink

MY purpose was simply and purely to point out how MirrorMirror was untruthful to the boards, until very recently(something which I do NOT like). Also that MirrorMirror was NOT following everything described by DrH to ensure that he would have a fully healed and fully RECOVERED marriage, which would become a ROMANTIC marriage.

I can not speak for every member posting, but I can speak for myself. I want to help people create romantic marriages. I want to help people ensure that their marriages are affair proof. I want to help people understand DrH's principles.

The best way to HELP is to point out flaws in their "plan" when it goes AGAINST what DrH prescribes to gain such a marriage.

You're right; my composition was imprecise. The use of "evident" was meant to belie my claiming authority in this matter, and would have been if the "to me" was inferred as intended. The sentence would then be:

c)the only purpose evident to me of this ongoing tirade is to provide a "Two Minute Hate" in the 1984 tradition;

I'm not sure why that should distract from the purpose of this site. I don't think people should expect to come here and not be called on wayward behavior.

I guess I missed the tirade, and the hate, because I'm not seeing it.

Here's the facts: you plan for a getaway with someone of the opposite gender, you are permitting them to make Love Bank deposits, whether you call it a "date" or not, whether you call it "romantic" or not, whether you call it "business drinks" or what. Those facts don't change from person to person.

We follow MB rules around here. MM is making a big mistake in ignoring what he did wrong. He needs to own it and move on.

I don't think he's a jerk- but I think he is not understanding what he did wrong in his zeal to extract an apology from those of us who can see his mistake.

We don't just tell people what they want to hear. I am puzzled by what NeverGuessed is saying in this thread. If we only told people what they wanted to hear- we would have a lot of very short conversations, and a lot less saved marriages.

Thanks for all the support along the way.
