I received a much welcomed phone call from Pepperband today.

She's recovering nicely, minimal pain, getting disconnected from IV's and preparing to HOPEFULLY come home on Thursday. She's still on liquids but talked DH into sneaking in a few sips of regular coffee ( our devious Pep is still there!!)

Surgery was successful with part two expected in appox two months.

She wanted me to be SURE to thank MB members for their love, support & prayers.

And if she posts in the next few days,,please keep in mind,,she's PUI (posting under the influence!) grin

Thank you Pep. We love you!!

What sort of surgery was this, anyway? If it's not too nosy/disrespectful for me to ask.

I LOL for REAL. My DS11 asked me "What?" So I told him. He said, "Fail." Kids, they just don't get silly humour.

Glad to hear that you are doing better. PUI, that sounds like FUN.

Or the poor WW who backed into the whirling fan?

Dis-assed-her!

[Linked Image from planetsmilies.net] NG, why must you play "Can you top this?"

[Linked Image from planetsmilies.net] Actually, given the loci of his references, it would be, "Can you BOTTOM this?"

Mister, why doesn't this cow have any horns?" asked the young lady from a nearby city. The farmer cocked his head for a moment, then began in a patient tone, "Well, ma'am, cattle can do a powerful lot of damage with horns. Sometimes we keep'em trimmed down with a hacksaw. Other times we can fix up the young 'uns by puttin' a couple drops of acid where their horns would grow in, and that stops 'em cold. Still, there are some breeds of cattle that never grow horns. But the reason this cow don't have no horns, ma'am, is 'cause it's a horse."
