It can be easy to miss. Though I have it linked in my posts, it only gets bumped about once a year for a milestone update, or when something really interesting happens. (Like when I got my bus driver's license.) I wouldn't have bumped it just for this, but tomorrow or the next day I'm going to get to drive something new. It's still a semi, but with a belly-dump trailer to haul gravel. I was going to get to drive a cement mixer, but there's no one around right now to teach me how to run the cement portion correctly, and apparently it doesn't go well when a load of concrete sets up inside the truck. Bus drivers around here do all kinds of things during the summer.

Lol - thanks! I hope she's willing to cut her hair...mine's only shoulder-length now. A wig isn't an option for gritty reality. Actually didn't she cut hers recently? I thought so. No, no wig. We need the real deal.

Eight years out from D-day, and the only reason I noticed is because as I wrote the date, it seemed familiar. Took me a minute to even remember. There was a time when I was proud of myself for going a whole minute without remembering.  Not quite two months ago, we bought a store together. Life is busy, to put it mildly. Still trying to balance home time vs. store time. Aside from a recent grumpy patch (his!) as AJ transitioned from a week in bed and very sick to up and working, life is good. He knew I still love him, since he didn't even check his tea for hemlock.  We're 40 together, and plan on decades more. Millennia of millennia if you count heaven. Time to go home and make valentine cookies for the kids to take to school. If a few of the gumdrops never make it to their destination, don't look at me!
