Just an Update. Joyce wrote me back and asked me to call her this week. I'm still deciding whether or not to be on the show, but clearly she would like me to be and so I probably will. My situation IS unique, btw. Not because of the circumstances of my marriage, but because of God's involvement in my life personally. perhaps one day I can explain it all so you can see that even through all of my mistakes that God has guided me and protected me and my children. It started with a prophecy that was fulfilled when my wife ran from God over a decade after the prophecy. The prophecy was confirmed through the prayer of a woman in my church who didn't know about either the Prophecy or our situation. God has led me through (though I've screwed it up several times) the roughest of times and has finally led me to MB. While I remain confused as to the timing, I know that HE is not. Also, while my situation may look like someone else's in every way, I am so glad that I don't serve a cookie-cutter God with cookie-cutter fixes. If I did, He would have cast the both of us out a long time ago as lumps of unmoldable clay. I appreciate your help and covet your prayers now more than anything. The answer to my original question I guess I kinda knew all along. So I've been doing it far too wrong for far too long... does it matter? I serve an awesome God and therefore there is no such thing as too late. If there were, He would have led me to MB sooner. I may still lose my wife forever, but the lessons God has taught me even to this point are going to prove "worth it all" in the end and yet He is not finished with me. Today's Sermon was about worry. I have to do what is right and stop worrying about ww's response to that or even your responses to me. You HAVE been helpful and that is all that matters. Thank you for everything so far. I will not likely post on this thread again. If I post after the radio show I will most likely begin a new thread. Hopefully because I will no longer be "doing it all wrong" anymore and the heading won't fit. smile

In both of my experiences being a caller on the radio show, I took Dr. H's words as being inspired guidance from the Lord. Both times, the results of following that advice have been a blessing for us. I hope you decide to go on as a caller. I look forward to hearing the Harleys address your situation.

I'm sorry for what you're going through agapelover but you are in some serious denial brother. Your situation (as much as you think it is) is far from unique. Your spouse has made a choice to be unfaithful. Did you contribute to the circumstances that led to this, ABSOLUTELY, so did I and so did many on this board. God works in mysterious ways and he enables us to have free will over our actions and gives us strength to live out our will. You need to understand that, this situation will not go away on its own. I'm far from even getting my spouse to fully commit work on repairing our marriage but the circumstances that led to her A are very similar to yours.

Open your heart and eyes and listen to the advice being offered. The people on this board know how tough it is and have been through it. I still believe some of the stuff they say is a bit extreme but I'm starting to see that it might be the only way to bring our WW's back to reality. They are not themselves and they don't realize whats going on just like a drug addict. They can't comprehend what is happening, they are not bad people they are just blind right now.

Good luck, I hope it works out for both of us.

I agree, mrEureka. Dr Harley told me at the seminar that he got the idea for this program in a prophecy from God. I believe him.

I would too. As someone once pointed out -- Jesus himself seemed fond of Plan B on occasion.

One year becomes two, two years becomes five, five becomes ten and before you know it, you've wasted your whole life on a problem you can't solve. That's one way to spend your life. -rwinger

I will not spend my life this way.
