As I was reading your thread I was thinking the same thing .... the reason he moved out in June was b/c of the A.
You need to do a complete strategic exposure as Mel has advised, the longer an A continues without any interference the more entrenched it becomes. You may also find some welcome support as people start to re think WH's spiel " we got together after we separated"
I'm sorry your FIL has failed to support your M, sadly there are many ILS who are conflict avoiders and/or find it easier to believe the wayward spin.
