Also, I promise that my 9 yr old has NO idea anything is going on. My stepdaughters actions are totally done for my acknowledgement only. She has not clued my daughter in on anything...my husband would be furious. And my 9 yr old is also a VERY open child. She asks many questions if she is bothered by something. I would definitely know if she had any idea. It is extremely important that you tell your daughter about the affair. Giving her false explanations for the source of tension in your home causes her great confusion and also teaches her to be dishonest. Your husband can explain to her why he is destroying her family over some skank.

I hope that "no words" doesn't translate to "no action." That's not intended to be mean spirited. It's meant to prod you into action. You are being presented with such cogent and clear advice on this thread.
Do you understand now the importance of exposure and leaving this situation? If you don't you will continue to be abused by your husband.
You need to remove yourself from this situation, and you need to pop the fantasy bubble that he and the OW are enjoying. If you don't take assertive action, you are empowering the affair and the demise of your good health.
I think your nine year old deserves to know the truth. She sees a lot of dysfunction around her and is probably confused. In the long run this is bad for her and for you.
