Excuses??

I am not done being creative as these solutions don't solve much for us. wink
I can still give back ideas to this community in exchange for the help I have gotten so far and maybe sharing will stimulate more creativity.

VBS is a good idea!

Hopefulwife 47,

I know this is not the purpose of this thread but do you know what has caused your husband's hyperaucusis or sound sensitivity? I do have a reason for asking.

I understand he had a stroke but why did the stroke cause the sound sensitivity. How is that explained?

I'm not sure what you mean by explained. He has just noticed that loud noises bother him now. Also, he can't watch some of his war movies without getting dizzy at the battle scenes.. Why? Who knows.. just a side effect along with the continued headaches and fatigue..

Kids are 2 & 4, the 4 yo has autism. We use respite caregivers (ie expensive babysitters) and reduce UA spending. At least 10-15 of UA is gym, the rest (usually 6-10) are various nights like coffee. Since our sitters are so pricy ($26/hr) we don't do dinner/movie. We will one day!!!
