KP:

Start your own thread and ask the specific questions that you have so that you can get the help that YOU need. Label the topic URGENT or I NEED YOUR HELP. That's how I got helped here. I would scream out and holler!!!

I haven't talked to anybody except the people here and Steve Harley. They have truly been my lifesavers. Friends and familly members are too biased.

Maybe it was a big mistake. Some of you told me not to do it. However, it felt RIGHT! I went with my gut. I felt it was needed to bring my WS further over the edge. I went in for the HOME RUN.

Well, you guessed it. It was a MAJOR session, if you know what I mean. Candles burning all over the room, music playing, wine glasses.... the whole nine yards. It was heavenly. I feel if we never get back together again it was certainly worth it. AN UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT! Just like VERY OLD times.

What did my WS do afterwards? Ask me if he could just lay down and hold me and talk to me? He asked me this. He just talked and talked.

This was at our house. He wanted to spend the night, I could tell, but did not. He did his typical thing, going around and touching everything. I had put his toothbrush in his closet. He did not say anything about it. He took it out, brushed his teeth and put it back where it goes in the bathroom. Did some more of his typical rituals to mark his territory.

Couldn't get enough of calling me today. Wanted to meet me for lunch. Called to tell me what time to meet him at the gym. Talked about what we will be doing next year this time. Plans made to go out of town next week on my day off.

We're not there YET but I still am cautiously optimistic that we are on the way. I'm feeling less anxious. However, as long as there is contact with the OW, although more limited, there is need for concern.

I just had to let you guys know. A woman whose been through what I've been through has got to have a little bit of fun. I am legit since he is really married to me. I won't go so far as to call him my H. He continues to be a WH.

Oh Mimi, that sounds sooo good. I'm happy for you, Good to be cautious though, but take time to bask in this and enjoy what's happening. It gives me hope! I'll be thinking of you.

Mimi,

I am continually amazed at how good your instincts are. Here he is in the middle of a very intense trial in his attempt to END things with the OW, and you reinforce him just when he needs it. Lovely timing! I would bet that ANY SHRED of reservation was erased with your intimate evening. He can't possibly turn back now. You are a master, Mimi!

Here is my update:

My WS is acting like he is in a MISSION IMPOSSIBLE TV show. He actually claims to be on a "MISSION" since about Wednesday. He stresses that he is working his PLAN.

He continues to get enraged, starts to rant, if I ask him questions about his PLAN or if it seems that I want to help him. He calms down easily though. I do continue to use my ways to get as much information about what's going on as I can. He says I need to be getting ready for the tough time to come, all the phone calls, etc.

The OW's sister's last day at my WS' office was yesterday. There was lots of drama about that. WS told me that the sister was upset about the way it ended, complained to the OW, wrote a 4 page letter to WS about the last days. I'm not sure if my WS acted a certain way with her as part of the PLAN or not. This is just the info. that I am getting.

WS has been AWOL from OW all week, "hiding out" at different places during the day. He reports to me where he is (the library, for example), leaving work to go to the condo because he has a headache, meeting me everyday for lunch....

Weekend has been weird. He has not been with her last night or tonight. He is not with me either. Of course, I don't know what he is telling her. He has been calling me incessantly all day. This morning he gave me another big speech about his big mission and how I need to "trust" him and believe in him. He went over all the people and situations that he has walked away from in his life, never to return. It is true that when he is finished with something he doesn't go back.

There is proof of his plan to return home. He had business cards made for his new business with our home address printed on them.

Also, we have reservations to spend the night out of town on Tuesday night as if he has something major planned.

I'm continuing to be cautiously optimistic and doing my PLAN A. I got some beautiful flowers and pots for my front porch. WS rode by and saw them, called me back and said I did a "beautiful job" and gave me a suggestion about the wreath for the front door. Let's make this perfectly clear. The decorating was for my self-satisfaction. He happened to appreciate it; remember he loves the "domestic" stuff I do.

Gosh Mimi, sounds pretty good although I know you won't feel settled until he's really back home and it's OVER. I think you have handled things very well. I hope your WS wraps it all up soon, and follows through on the steps to recovery. Thinking of you and crossing my fingers that it all goes smoothly. Have fun on Tuesday!
