Lisa your wonderful relationship with your SD's is vindication of what a wonderful person you are. They are truly YOUR daughters.

Hi All

CM - thank you, you say the nicest things <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> I have to say that it wasn't always easy for me with the girls, particularly when they were younger and my R with their Dad was new, but I worked hard at making it a strong relationship and I am happy they are in my life. Yes, I do refer to them as "My girls".

H_P - I'm always pleased to see you and thank you for your kind words. More often than not I don't feel very helpful, but I try to lend support when I can. I feel much more on an even keel at the mo, but yes, the dark days are still there and can be very dark.

Today I had my assessment day. I feel very positive, although I was incredibly nervous when I started my presentation. My 1-on-1 interview was with a man that does some work with my ex Boss!!!! I called my ex-Boss straight away and told him to put in a good word for me. He said of course he would! This work is incredibly important to me. I need the regular work so that if I buy H out of the house (which I would like to do), I know I will have some regular income over the coming months as my monthly outgoings increase. Please everybody out there in MB land, keep your fingers and toes crossed for me!!!!

Lisa
