Well I took the test. I missed 1 question and went back to answer it. That one question caused me to move from INTJ to ENTJ.
Then I read this: 'ENTJs are decisive. They see what needs to be done, and frequently assign roles to their fellows. Few other types can equal their ability to remain resolute in conflict, sending the valiant (and often leading the charge) into the mouth of hell. When challenged, the ENTJ may by reflex become argumentative. Alternatively (s)he may unleash an icy gaze that serves notice: the ENTJ is not one to be trifled with.'
Me? Ya' think?!?! ! LOL!!!!
Well at least some of the 'names' on the list were fun: Whoopie, Harrison, Steve Martin, Cadence, Jim Carrey, Dave Letterman?
Then again: Nixon?!?!? Yikes! .... Oh well, better than Professor Moriarty (INTJ).
Hm....

Orchid, ENTJ's are also very powerful personalities! They are called The Executive and have enormous personal power.

LOL!
IMHO, regardless of what category one falls into, there is still the area of individuality that can make a category good or bad.
I still believe that 'laughter is good medicine'.
Ok, right now I have to head out to MIL's house to drop off some boxes from SIL's house. Drive 1 1/2 hours to SIL's house and bring back the rest of her things.....those nephew's of mine are in for a hard workout this after noon!!! LOL!!!
But I do have my nice side. If all goes well, I intend to take the boy's to Baskin Robbin's for whatever they can eat (within reason of course).

Orchid you are an ENTJ - yes you are one to have created the 'reverse babble'. Creative? Very much! Expressive? Very much! All of the above? Not sure! I had 3 persoanlity tests done at the college I am going to attend. Will see how they turn out. One was the Meyer Briggs test.
How are you doing girl, hows that cute little son of yours doing? Things here are going along and I am doing great. Divorce is over, and as you can see, SNL continues on his regular path. No changing and INTJ. Anyways. Tests are only what you make of them. If a person wants to change, they would. If SNL was told he better change his personality, or he would get his right toe cut off, he would. And if he didn't right toe would be cut off. Then they said once again you better change or we will cut off the foot at the anke, he would change or be cut off. And this could continue on till he had no limbs left. Now would a human decide to change, for his life. Or would he be so arrogant and just let each digit, limb be chopped away cause he wanted to prove power and control or stupidity. Just a thought for all of you. Anyone can change. Like the bible says, we all can change for the better. And we all can change to be treat others like we would want to be treated.

Susan, that seems to fit very much from what I have seen. You do seem very warm hearted and sympathetic. [ June 29, 2003, 04:23 PM: Message edited by: MelodyLane ]

I just pretented I was my H and found him to be an ISTJ. So that's the same as Spacecase, but introverted??? What do you think of that one SC?
Then I tried the free marriage compatibility test and it came up "Match less than 62% - unsatisfactory". Such a pleasant little unencouraging statistic.

I took this about a year ago, when I felt quite depressed. I thought perhaps my 'type' had changed, but alas--it hasn't.
I'm INFJ- The Counselor. It says INFJ's represent 2% of the population, interesting indeed! The description fits me very well, really. My profession is one of the ones recommended for this type, so that's good.
People think I'm outgoing and bubbly (I love to dance), but it's truly just an act. I'd quite prefer quiet activities, or working on my art hobby. If I'm not alone I prefer a very small group or just one other person.
Interesting stuff...I think I'll take it now as my exH.

Well..Well..Well...
Mine suits me to a T!
ESFJ
Strong, contradictory forces consume the ESFJ. Their sense of right and wrong wrestles with an overwhelming rescuing, 'mothering' drive. This sometimes results in swift, immediate action taken upon a transgressor, followed by stern reprimand; ultimately, however, the prodigal is wrested from the gallows of their folly, just as the noose tightens and all hope is lost, by the very executioner!
My children would agree with that wholeheartedly .
An ESFJ at odds with self is a remarkable sight . This one makes sense...I have had to whip my own a$$ a time or two also.
As caretakers, ESFJs sense danger all around--germs within, the elements without, unscrupulous malefactors, insidious character flaws. The world is a dangerous place, not to be trusted. Not that the ESFJ is paranoid; 'hyper-vigilant' would be more precise. And thus they serve excellently as protectors, outstanding in fields such as medical care and elementary education.
Gawd, I see potential danger in EVERYTHING but I have never considered myself paranoid. Hyper-vigilant is the most perfect word to descibe me. ~whew~ ..I was wrestling with that too. Am I too careful...should I ease up? (That was one of those "self" battles.)
Thanks for starting this thread Melody.

I'm ENFJ. Same type as Elizabeth Dole. I forget the other people. The judgmental part keeps me from giving the ADMIRATION WS needs. The feeling keeps me worried about him. The intuitive clues me into whats going on unfortunately. The Extroverted accounts for my enjoyment with coming out of the closet. I don't see anymore of you with this personality type. [ June 30, 2003, 04:32 PM: Message edited by: mimi1254 ]

commitedandlovingit - we're the same type (ESFJ)! It's good to know I'm not the only one. My profession (teaching)aligns well with my personality type too. However, that phrase about being paranoid and that we tend to sense danger all around doesn't reallly describe me.

I have taken this test many times and usually end up as an INTJ...the description fits me better than any of the other letter combinations.
xW is an ESFJ.
I doubt that an INTJ match with an ESFJ is a very good recipe in the marriage compatibility test. However, it worked so well while dating. I guess opposites attract, but when you are married, I think people of like mind work best together.
That doesn't sound good for me because a very small portion of the population is a Mastermind like me...
My 2 cents...

hoping, my DH is the same thing as you, a Mastermind, and I am the perfect match for him, an ENTP! I was real surprised to read that. And we do get along very good and enjoy each other's company. I am a chatterbox who loves to debate and he loves to just listen, analyze and offer his opinion whenever he can get a word in edgewise.

Hi Mel,
I took it 3 times and ended up with slightly different scores each time but ultimately the same result. INTJ.
I don't think it suits me 100% but some of the characteristics are accurate.
