An update. My husband is still confused, but we had a nice phone call tonight. He called.
Friday we start our joint counseling.
Please pray for wisdom for our counselor and for us. I am also praying that God will work a miracle with my H and my children (from first marriage). Neither of my children, ages 22 and 27, are anxious for us to reconcile. However, they do say it is my life and decision. I don't really want to spend the next 30 years, give or take a few, in trying to mend feelings. On the other hand, I guess that is a lot of what life may be about.
Jesus certainly had to deal with lots of different feelings in his disciples.
I feel very fortunate to have arrived at this juncture relatively quickly. I know many of you are still awaiting positive actions. I do know that the enemy is not happy, and will try to disuade my H or me re the counseling, etc.
Please pray for us. I am continuing to pray for all of you that the Lord will give you peace, standing faith, and strengthen your hope for the future. I will continue reading your posts and praying for you. This board has been so helpful to me.
"Wait patiently for God."
Committed
