Great idea!

I've filled my mantle on my fireplace with candles, and most my windows where my lil tike can't get hold of em and burn the place down..*S*
Tonight, my son and I sat and watched the glow come from the mantle of all the candles I put up there, I put one for every close person who has passed on from this wretched life, and one for each of my immediate family , one for my son, and also lit my marriage union candle even though H is out on a party without me again. And my son and I sat and sang and for a 2 year old, I was quite amazed that he sat with me for almost two hours, talking in a whisper and pointing and hugging and kissing.
Great plan, my son and I will both sleep sounder tonight. And I enjoyed the peacefullness of thinking about my loved ones who have gone on to a much better place.
I will carry this on with my other friends in need here in Canada.
God Bless you all! Well, I've got Texas covered. Only 38 more states to go, & God knows how many countries. But, I guess we can't count all of them as some cultures condone polygamy. Then again, we might not be able to count Utah, either, he, he he!
(No offense to those of you who might reside there, just a feeble attempt at a joke.)

Ohio is covered! Great idea...I love candles and now I have a special prayer I will say for each candle I light. I'm going to start a tradition with my daughter and each night we are going to light a candle together and say a prayer! She usually sings happy birthday when she sees a candle...too cute!
