This is something that I've just started and believe me it works for both of us.
Every morning I email my H a "Happy Memory" and describe something that he has done for me that I cherish and why it means so much to me.
For example: the day we rented a catamaran on our honeymoon or how happy I was when he gave me a diamond necklace the day after seeing Titanic.
We were going through a tough week, and this not only lets him know I appreciate him, but also makes me think of the reasons why I love him! And I realize that he is an amazingly romantic man and it's easier to start the healing process.
