Dear Alcoholic's Wife,
I would love to be included in your on-line prayer and bible study. Thank's so much for your compassion and kind words. I am so happy right now. I know I have to keep my eye on God and He will guide me and help me to stay true to the changes he has brought about in me. I am so excited that I have the opportunity to show my Husband how much I love him and how wonderful our lives can be. I thank God constantly for returning him to me. He spoke to his heart just like you prayed He would. Thank you again so much for caring. Now that he's home I can unpack our computer and once we get online again I would love to join your study on Tues. nights.
Thank you Jesus for the wonderful people I have met here at marriage builders.
I am here to testify that I gave my burden to God and let Him work in my life. He has shown me how merciful and loving He is and answered my deepest heartfelt prayers. I cannot put into words the joy that is in my heart.
Love & Happiness to You All & May God Shine His Glorious Light into all your lives!
Cindy

hi ladies,
I won't be able to join every tues. because my h has the computer at night.but tonight he is out of town, so I'll try to make it. I have had some answered prayer this weekend. My has said he is not "inlove" and we are in counseling, and I have been really working on losing weight because that is a need of his, you know the attractive wife thing. Well it is paying off. My easter dress, looked very nice, (i have lost 48lbs since Oct, and this dress emphazized that well) Anyway, he told me how nice i looked more than once and was very loving and attentive all day!!!! I now have hope, i think God has softened his heart.
I have been trying so hard to show him i do love him, it is difficult, because i really want to beg and cry, and demand committment.
I went downstairs where he is fixing up a workshop, and a gentle voive seemed to say
"he's not going anywhere" thanks for youe=r prayers, i lift you guys up everynight too.

Welcome Holding on, I look forward to getting to know you. This group of ladies have really been a blessing to me.
Carole, that is fantastic answers to prayer! Great job on the losing weight too! I have lost 35 since September (for myself though and not hubby)and I feel so much better about being a good steward of my body. Working on tightening it all up now via Tae-Bo and weight lifting. I can't believe the difference it makes.
Please post as to how we can pray for you specifically tonight if you haven't already done so.

My prayer request, would be for God to soften our hearts towards each other.
For patience for me, and safety for my husband(out of town on business) that his love for me would be restored, and we can learn to forgive each other for the hurt we have caused, And will learn to share feelings and conflicts with care and love

H O - Keep singing those praises to the Lord! All the glory is His. I am so very, very happy for you and your H; and I know God is too. What a wonderful thing to happen at Easter, a new beginning for your "new" marriage. Oh, I just can't sit still, this exciting news is making me dance in my chair! Thank You Lord Jesus!
Even if you can't get on-line on Tues., please pray with us. We normally start at 11:00 PM EST. Afterwords whatever we felt moved about we post that. It is so comforting to know that you are praying in agreement with these wonderful sisters in Christ for our marriages. The Spirit overwhelms us sometimes.
There is a post somewhere called Agenda that will give you an idea of what we've been doing. If you have any suggestions, please speak right up! So glad you're here!
Carol14 - what a glorious praise report! Wow, 48 lbs. That is fantastic. I am sure this makes him so proud of you. Does wonders for your self esteem, huh. I too have lost weight, 20 lbs since last summer. Most of it stress related I think. I had wanted to lose some weight anyway, but would have rather dieted instead of my H having an affair!
I'll be praying for you and your H Carol. God will soften his heart, and He can and will fill his heart with a deep abiding love for you, a love that will be greater and more intense than ever before. Keep praising Him.
Blessings to all,
AW
