Roll:
I'm on call 24 hours a day. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] Yeah, I should hang out my shingle, eh? Do as I say, not as I do. Sometimes I wonder why I'm paying $80 a week. I'm thinking I'm getting ready to stop, but don't want to stop too soon.
One thing, though. Sessions with me are TOUGH. I do not suffer fools or the self-delusional gladly. Hopeful:
Just keep in mind that you and ES are different people. He's gonna have some strengths that you don't have and you have some strengths that he doesn't have. That's what makes y'all a great team. You complement each other! I'll bet ES can't make poptarts and bacon as well as you can!
Shoot, if you stuck me in the kitchen, I'd burn it down, but Petunia cooks like freakin' Julia Child! She couldn't keep a plant alive if the world depended on it, but I've got a pretty good green thumb. We each have our strengths and weaknesses!
Make a list of your positive qualities, and don't be ashamed to write them down. Toot your own horn, cuz nobody (except ES) is gonna toot it for you. Be proud of who you are . . . you're the only you in the entire world!
[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
------------------
/// Lone Star * ///

[This message has been edited by Lone Star (edited December 01, 1999).]

new_beginning - how about salmon burgers with a side of bacon and poptarts for dessert while attending a session with Dazed and Confused discussing our postive qualities and telling my controling mother to shut up?
Doesn't that sound like it could be fun with good food. The salmon is thawed as well as the bacon but who knows if they are cooked or not
