If you guys don't mind I'll bring some Latin music - Carlos Vives, Gloria Estefan and of course, Mambo #5. That last one, I love the beat, but the words ugh.
I'm a transplanted Atlanta girl, married to a Latin American, speak spanish etc, and have gradually begun to love the music.
I'll bring some rice pudding and Tequila. And of course, my 3 and 5 year old. They love pool parties. It's been in the 90s already down here in South Fl.
The infidelity diet did wonders for me too, though I've gained a little back.
So glad you're coming, cl, and where is our hostess??

Happy summer everyone!
I'm here cl!
So wonderful to see your name here!
It doesn't feel too much like summer in Alberta yet but I'll bring my coffee and Bailey's.
I've been pounding the pavement looking for a lost dog so I missed most of the party.

Well, well, well, Deb has to have a party to bring wassi out of hibernation?! Whatever it takes, I am glad you are here!
Lost dog? Not your baby?! I sure hope not.
Schizzo, I have a rather dark association with atlanta! Sweetpea came to the rescue of the southern belles last year when I slammed the whores in GA! My h drove my car to FL, taking a rte right thru Atlanta...he called before entering the state and on exit! His idea. Okay, so I am warming to GA again.
Now that is in the past, right where it needs to be, lets get a tan, listen to some latin music and schizzo can teach us the samba?

Hey cl
Not my baby. My son's roomate's baby. 8 month old Malamute/wolf cross. The size of a horse. The kids are all at work so I did all the searching and notices. Keep us in your thoughts. She is such a sweetheart and the kids are just devastated.
My son asked why all dogs can't be like mine. Whenever she got out she would go to the front door and scratch to get in.

This sounds like it will be a lot of fun.
I'll bring the home made beer. I have a honey ale for all the light beer drinkers, for the more adventurous there will be a red ale, and for the real men (of whatever sex), a fake Guiness stout. Since there seems to be a shortage of food, I'll also bring some carne asada.
Cya there,
Steve

This sounds like a blast! Can I come? I'd be happy to bring a selection of microbrews and some nice spinach and artichoke dip. And maybe some corn on the cob to go on the grill. I'll listen to whatever's spinning: salsa and swing sound great!
Thanks for the party, Deb! --HBC

quote:
College for the wonderful grad?[/B]

Oh cl, Thanks, as for college, well not right now anyway. He says he wants to take a year off from scholl. And he's talking about bartender school (please Lord, NO ) I told him if he thinks working in a grocery store makes him dislike people to think about the same kind of people drunk and barfing on his shoes ! So I have no idea what he will do next.
No people this party isn't nearly over ! These things can go for days and days. The best part of cyber-parties is you only get cyber-hangovers. Which are treated with cyber-asprin. Now pardon me, I'm gonna go bump Sheba off the dance-floor and take a turn myself. Anybody here two-step ? Will you teach me ?
------------------
Just call me - Deb
------------------------
The only day I can do anything about is today, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet mine.
Hepatitis C, educate yourself ! http://hepatitis-central.com/
