SHA,
The pix were from a digital camera. Still haven't developed the other pictures yet.
Nellie,
I did feel her distancing from me, but not anymore than other times in the relationship. While she was in her affair pre-discovery, she was staying out a bit more, but the rest of the time seemed pretty good. There was something wrong, but I couldn't tell you exactly how it was bad.
------------------
Prayers & God Bless!
Chris
For relationship info check out www.pcisys.net/~chriscal1/resources.html

What a wonderful place! Girls grow up too quickly, don't they? (It's downright scary sometimes to watch my 12 year old!) You've got a beautiful family, Chris, and your girls are truly blessed to have a father as dedicated as you are.
Just one observation about looking back... it's amazing how different our perception of things is when we look back with the "benefit" of today's knowledge.
------------------
Bobbie

Chris,
Haven't been on for awhile. I loved the photos! We were just in Yellowstone about a month ago on the way back from Boise. It had been years since I'd been there. Walking that trail down to the falls just about killed me now that I'm pregnant! But what beautiful scenery.
Things are going well here. My pregnancy is going great. I'm just over 5 months now, and that baby is flopping around like a fish all the time! He/she is so active! I'm feeling really good now, so that's a relief.
I'm trying to learn patience from you. It's hard to imagine what your wife was willing to give up. Your will is incredible. I'll keep checking on you and praying for you and your girls. Take care!
Kris

Hi Chris,
The pictures look great! Was this your first big vacation without your wife? I feel so sad for you guys. You all look like you were having a good time on the vacation, though. Looks like you are on your way to coping without your wife, sad as it is. Man, she sure is screwing up big time!

SHA, A great example of perseverance. But when does it become ridiculous? Someone in one of the other forums has been waiting 3 1/2 years. Sorry, not me!
Kellie & NT, Thanks!
Bobbie, So true. If I knew then what I knew now...
Kris, Good to hear from you! Hope all is well with your family. I have been thinking of you also. Patience? What's that? ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif) It's all I can do to keep myself going.
Stu, Yeah, first vacation without her. And yes she is messing up sooooo bad! Don't know when she will wake up, but she is missing so much and the longer it takes her, the harder it will be to work things out (if I'm still around). I pray everything is going good for you. Have you started school again yet?
Sheba, Oh, I'm up & down. Ya' know how it goes. Plan C. I don't know. I just thought up the name. You mean I have to actually come up with a plan? LOL
Took the girls shopping last week for clothes & school supplies. My oldest has orientation today and Friday (9th grade - starting high school AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!)
------------------
Prayers & God Bless!
Chris
For relationship info check out www.pcisys.net/~chriscal1/resources.html

oh boy!! High school....you think you're up and down now!!! LOL
My niece just had her first heartbreak.
She was a sophomore last year and went to two junior proms and the senior prom. She's been "dating" one of the boys since and he's not been contacting her for the past two weeks - dropped just like that!! No explanation, no 'see ya', nothing!!!! The little punk!!!!
It's horrible for her and I feel so bad!! Of course you can imagine what I want to do to him!!! But, she's an old soul in a sixteen year old's body and she'll be fine - she already tries to work past it with "his loss - the jerk!"
My brother wants to hunt him down!! She just laughs and says "go get him, Dad!"
What a road ahead!!! I'm sure you'll be extra observant of her with all that's going on at home - with you around she'll do fine, too!! Besides, sounds like your youngest has the old soul like my niece - she'll straighten her out if she needs it maybe!!
Hugs,
Sheba
PS - Yes, you have to come up with the Plan also!!!! LOL

Chris,
I said you are an example of perservence (i.e. stick to your morals, beliefs, unwavering in your actions). I didn't say you were an idiot (i.e. waiting on the front porch for her to maybe come back someday). If it's time to move on, then it's time.
You've stuck to your first plan. If it's time for a new direction, I doubt that you will waver in your beliefs, morals, or actions.
So, I stick to my guns in stating that you are an example of perseverence. I mean that as a compliment ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif) .
As for your oldest starting high school, keep the 45 and shovel handy. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif)
SHA

Hi, Chris,
Been on vacation & otherwise real busy, so I haven't done much more than lurk now & then, but I just had to tell you I was thrilled to see your pictures! Oddly enough, you *do* look a lot like I've been picturing you (as somebody else here said too)(actually, you're a *better-looking* version of what I'd pictured! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif) ). It's always fun & interesting) to finally get a face with the person.
I don't think I need add to the din about your gorgeous daughters. They really are lucky to have you Chris. I know this has been hell on you all, but you are doing so wonderfully. As they get older, they will recognize and appreciate more and more how strong you have been for them and how much you love them. I can't help but feel sorry for all your W is losing. I'll keep hoping she comes to her senses soon.
You hang in there, Chris, & keep us posted here. I think a lot of us old-timers are keeping tabs on you!!
All the best, Suse
p.s., I'll tell Dunc to check out your pics too!
