Vee,
OH Yeah! I have ideas [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com].
Bet you do too. Try talking about something that you both enjoy. Smile at him, just for the H--- of it. It will drive him nuts.
You know Vee it seems to me that for the first time in several years your marriage is now honest. That should make both you and your H very happy. It took a lot of pain to get here, but you are here. Nothing to hide, plenty to talk about, and a future to share.
That ought to put a smile on your face. And if you explain this to your H, it will probably put one on his face.
Think about it.
God Bless,
JL

JL
I'll do that! We were up until 3:30 a.m. this morning talking. This week, I haven't been to sleep at a decent hour yet! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] I'm thinking about doing something to our bedroom to make it feel a lttle more warm. I'll think of something.
And yes, this is the first time in 2yrs that we've actually managed to communicate and be honest. And it feels really good! No judging or anything else. Just us trying to fix what we messed up a long time ago. There's a book by Iylana Vanzant (I'm sure you've heard of her, she's on Oprah every week and a bunch of ther places) called Faith in The Valley. I feel like I've finally emerged from the valley and I'm able to see the sun poking through the clouds.
I think that by doing something to make my home feel warm again, I'll be able to gain a little more self confidence and begin to heal properly.
Thanks again!
Vee
