My dad was a serial cheater. He had a number of A's over a twenty-year period and married the last OW. I found out about the A's when I was 10 yo so I understand some of what your children are going through. Reassure them that you love them and will always be there for them and will make sure that they are safe. Also, be sure to tell them that despite the turmoil their father loves them.

IMHO, I would limit WH's contact with the kids to those times when OW and her children are not present. Should the A continue you maybe faced with the decision to allow S to spend the night with his father. Because S is only six he doesn’t comprehend as much as D.

I am still allowing my S to spend the night with his D. The OW does not have children. My D spent some time with her D yesterday. I allow WH to come over to the family home to see D and think this has helped her. I reasure them all the time and tell them we both love them very much and that it is mine and WH problem only. WH is making noises once again that he has made a mistake but I can't go back this time. I have made my mind up to have a life without a serial cheater.
