Many in the forum think it is futile for BHs to point out the obvious flaws in many OMs. Others add that this may also be offensive to WWs because after all they picked OM as a romance partner and therefore it reflects on them.

Others have stated that WWs NEVER forget the OM, no matter how many years go by. Therefore, NC is recommended for life. In other words and OM could call again several years later and if the FWW is vulnerable the affair could start again.

Within this context I believe it is important to point out the deficiencies of OMs, particularly the ones that are serial cheaters with cunning smooth vocabulary. The latter is a universal quality and very convincing to the WW.

Ideally, once out of the fog the WW will have no choice but to see the flaws. If the OM calls many months or years later at least the FWW knows the OM is an undesirable character. If no one points this out the WW may never realize this on her own. The natural tendency will be to glorify the OM and this will come easy if no external voice points out the obvious.
