Hi there. How is it going. Your week with D's is almost out. Have you guys been having a good week? Had a question: If I may ask, does Redhat have to do with Linux system?

Sorry to give you 2 post at one time. Going on 3 weeks since A was supposedly over. I should be jumping for joy right? However I have times of sadness that come on me about it and I feel a little depressed. Is this a part of grieving or something? Any insight?

freetobe,
Good week, yes it is always good but it is exhausting !. I cooked dinner for the club on Thursday night and I ran out of food . My single weekend coming up tomorow, time for me to take care of my self. I have get together w/ some of MBers here, Orchid & co and do some cooking too. It would be good be around adult again, lol.
Until your WF learn how to fillin your ENs and avoid LBng you, you still have to sacrifice. This is hard work and take time. Hope WF become FWF and defoged quick.

Yes it does. I run out of names when I try to register and I have a copy of redhat that I try to install. I use it.
I work on most operating system all the way from mainframe, OS2, Window, unix to linux.

RH. How about being an MSCE. I understand this is an IT professinal that works on the hardware side of things. Can you expound if familiar?
What is your weekend shaping up to be like? No girls this weekend, are you getting out there, cooking?
Mine is rather boring but insightful. Doing some MB reading and a few other things?

Hi there again. I've been doing a lot more reading and posting. I realized that maybe I've been a little too eager to post when I really should be learning more. So now I have, guess what? Another Plan. . (I must say that word 20 times a day since I came to MB.) The plan is me "grasshopper" Will leave the advice more to the illustrious hands of yourself and others. By the way I've ran into Starf*sh and awed18 that have really helpd. So I won't weigh you down with post as much. As always I'm soooooo grateful for the advice you have shared with me. And really think you would be a dynamic counselor.

Like any certification it would get you to the front door of the job. It is good to have if you interested in computer networking, Windows is a dominat OS for desktop and small server. Right now the market for network enginneer is very crowded. However I do beleive once the job market picks up it would a good choice. It is very competetive also. I suggest you are also taking Unix System Admin. certification plus Cisco CNA while waiting the job market to get better. Word of warning, this particular field is male dominated.

Hmm, must be from the other thread on BayAreaMBer. Yes, I was warming up my single weekend with a bunch of local MBer. I have someone coming today to study for our last exam. I am taking construction class, I wanna build my dream house w/ my dream mate ... LOL!. Let's see. Mon. night I might have to visit a freind to cheer her up, she is under the weather since last week. Tues. night I have to present MB Concept in my church group about RH & POJA to conclude Harley's basic concept. Wed., I am going to see LTR, cann't find a date to go w/ me ... I am going solo. Thursday, I have to go shopping for Christmas gifts. Friday, I have potluck for my constrution class then shop again for Christmas gifts. I want to have it done before my 2 D come home on Saturday.
Hey, you learn a lot by reading & posting, keep it up. I learn a lot from others.
How is WF ?. Is he trainable ?

Redhat (RH quotes in italics)
" How do you know that I am playing chef last night "
You cook all the time. That is how I supposed that you might be up to warming up the pots this weekend to. "Forget the rock, Smell what the REDHAT is cooking!" LOL. Is it therapuetic for you? I may try to do it with some girlsfriends if it helps. Hopefully it would not have an adverse effect and thicken the waistline.
Oh my goodness how do you function on such a busy schedule? I want to be asobst busy of a mutli tasker as you but I am afraid that maybe something would happen. I don't know.
"Right now the market for network enginneer is very crowded. " " Word of warning, this particular field is male dominated"
I went to a seminar that was big on selling MCSE. I should have known that they were leaving out the higher certs that one would need to be competetive.
WS is good. He is still away at work. He is trainable. However he is a person of action more than feeling and words. So I have to be careful to remember that also. I have to act more and talk to him about it in smaller amounts.
Have a good one.

I always enjoy cooking and I like eating it too . It is healthier, cheaper and open for creativities.
MSCE is a dime a dozen. The rate that they command is not the same no more. However if you apply for job that requires a networking in MS, the resume w/ MSCE would definitely better than w/o. But it is still way above the rate that you get flipping burger. My recomendation is to look at local community colleges or job centers. In BayArea you could take courses for a fraction what those guys charge. My favorite here is Cisco-CNA, only $75 x 2 , you get the training that cost thousands of $.
With Martian, give him a check list ... do this, do that then do this ... when you are done you know what you are getting at the end . It might feel awkward in the begining but the fact that he does the check list show that he cares and try to make you happy. When it becomes a habit it would secure your R with WF. OW will just faded away farther and farther in a distant memory.
