SDS-
You sound so good these days.
I am tryning to just take it as it comes. It gets so exhausting, though.
I absolutely agree that THEY are the ones that need to come to realize what is happening, and they are the ones the need to WANT to get help.
I, too, think that our H's are depressed and confused. Maybe he is trying to ask for help, in the only way he knows how to right now.
I'll keep holding on as long as I can.
Thanks for the prayers and hugs. They are ALWAYS welcome. Cheryl,
I still have bad days or rather bad times, but since I made through the holidays I am doing better. I decided that no matter what I will be alright. But I would be a lot better with H. I too see some reaching out maybe not to me just yet but to other members of his family and that is a good sign.
SOmething happened right after Christmas. I was at my sister's. Eveyone was doing their thing and I was in the living room having a quiet alone time reading and enjoying the fire in the fireplace. Out ot the blue I stop reading and it was almost like a voice said to me everything will be alright. Then I had a calm and peaceful feeling come over me. Ever since then I have felt better. Like said earlier I still have some bad times but they don't pull me down as they did before. Of course, I don't know that this means H will be back although I would like to think it does. But it has given me a peace of mind I haven't had in a very long time. Lots of prayers and {{{HUGS}}}}
------------------
di
