Kat,
The more of your advice that I read, the more I realize how mature and "put together" you are. It is interesting that we are all with a younger guy. My H called me last night after 10pm and my girlfriend had left. He apologized for being so cold up to now. He said he started out feeling guilty but now he feels sad. He asked me if I would like to meet him at Steak & Shake for cheese fries, one of our "evil" foods. He started talking some. Sounds like he's afraid of stagnation, doing the same routine everyday, and not growing...more signs pointing to an early mid-life crisis. Or maybe he's getting cold feet only now. It saddens me that he is not open-minded to a second chance for us. But he must make his own choices.

Very,
Thank you for the compliment, but IF is was that put together I guess I wouldn't be having the issues I am having with my H.
Is much easier to give advice then to follow it.
I appears to me, that you H is getting the best of both worlds at the moment though.
He moves out, leaves you, says there is no chance, then comes over, watches tv takes you out for fries.
You are doing a wonderful job of Plan A but, I am not sure at this point that he is going to understand and really think about what he is giving up. Because with all the friendship you are still giving him. WHAT has he given up????
You might try being just a little more unreachable. Go out to a movie.
Don't think of it as going alone. Think of it as Going with one of your favorite people..YOU!!!! after all at this point Who is more important to you?
Join some single things, usually your local paper has listings. Because I think that if you are home when he calls you have a real hard time telling him NO...but if you aren't there then you dont' have to tell him anything.
Keep me posted...
now....How do I fix mine???????
-Kat-
