(Unless I go for some kind of road trip!) I only have to work about 5 hours tomorrow so I'll be checking in early. I may even be here at the same time you guys are! Drew - we have to have a talk.
You sound like a serious party animal - skirt chasing - beer drinking - not quite up to my standards unprincely kind of guy.
Do you think that fellow in the Leslie Ann Warren version of "Cinderella" would ever have treated her this way. Flirting with all those other women, etc.
I'm back but looking for quality. I am not to be mistaken for one of the teeming masses of women following you around.
By the way, when will the wine arrive?

It is healthy! Keeps the heart ticking!
Dag nabbit. that Wine isn't there yet? The Royal UPS Driver must have drank it all. Dang he better not have, It was sippin' wine to be enjoyed by the tongue and palet NOT to be guzzled!
I will have to put a tracer on it, or just follow its trail myself! LOL
Glad your back...Drew is [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] again

I'm glad to know you're not a skirt chaser.
Don't care for that sort of guy. But how can I be sure you're not pulling my leg?
On a serious note, I'm glad your in-laws want to keep you. I am fortunate to still have a good relationship with mine. However, every now and then my mil and I almost have little flare-ups and we have learned that it's ok to say that we can't continue that part of the conversation. (She is the grandmother of my children so I do need her for their sakes but, as the mother of the biggest jerk and the greatest king of denial I ever met, she really provokes me sometimes.) I still love them though I wouldn't take a pluggged nickel for their son. Isn't it nice to know that someone in the other partner's family likes you even though...........
But moving on to more cheery stuff, of which kingdom are you the prince? Need to know primary industries, political history, GNP, other pertinent stuff. After all, I want to be a princess in the know.

HUMMMMM...Prince of the Kindom of Tan House is all. Sad huh! but at least I have two charges to care for...NO not kids, a dog and cat...hahahaha
Democratic of Nature and political affliation, Fair, open, HONEST, forward and a wise butt! But always a good listener
I am the sorter of thoughts before I speak, MOST of the time! I have "spouted off" a time or two. I am very different in my work then at home though! The Dr. Jekyl, Mr. Hyde sydrome, NOT to say I am a [censored] at the office, but just run a tight operation! Home I shut off WORK and have fun! Let the hair down if you will. course I don't have long enough hair to let down either. You know what I mean!! LOL
Turn ons: Fun and FUNNY people. I don't care if your a goof, just be fun! I like the road trip things. I have always been one that can on a weekend morning wake up, shower get in the truck and GO, no plan no direction, just go, well that is to say I also would take you along [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Turn offs: Gum smacking, food smacking, people that are "stuck on themselves" Not to say I don't like confidence, but there is a HUGE difference in the Drew Book of life! I also am not big on IDIOTS (meaning rude people that ask for you opinion, but don't care either) LOL
Got more questions, I am here...Ask away! LOL
Drew [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
PS...what do I do? UM I am one of them Environmental Type People! I am the guy that helps keep America Beautiful! LOL...I try at least! LOL
Mostly I work with industrial companies on pollution prevention waste reduction, best management practices.
Can't wait to see what Murph says...and if you say I am a geek I shall hurt ya Murph! Cindirelli,
What is it that you do when you have to put your long flowing hair up and partake in activity of the laborious nature?
Or do princesses need not labor in the glorious fun filled work week? What doth do for thy living?
Oh I also live volleyball and basketball, so if there is sand close, I shall bring the net and ball, cometh one, cometh all, hey I have to keep this big old teddy bear frame in check you know. that is how I work out! Homemaker turned devastated woman turned photography student currently in shock over having made a decision to follow something that may have been a stupid choice budgetarily.
Right now I'm spending some time as a church secretary. I'm doing the slides for the powerpoint presentations we do for our Sunday morning worship services.
Previously I spent 10 yrs. in human resources with state of Tennessee. I've been home for 9-1/2 years before beginning the church thingy in May. Obviously, I don't want to do this forever. Doesn't pay well enough but it pays better than doing nothing.
For pleasure, I like to cook (not clean up though), read, do needlework, hang out with the 4 beasts (2 human and 2 feline) which inhabit by humble castle. I could live out of a suitcase. Children and no money make that a tough proposition, though.
Love smart, articulate, broadly educated people. Love to laugh. Love music (varied -am raing a 7 yr old who has been a B. B. King fan for more than 4 years and who sat transfixed through one of his shows 3 yrs ago) as well as all those other artsy things a princess would love. Love to go dancing (yeah, that's right I'm a church secretary in need of a dancing buddy). Also, would love to find good looking, healthy (in all the important ways-physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, financially), well-dressed, articulate, intelligent, humorous, single, Christian guy but I have a feeling my standards are too high and I have become too independent to find the man of my dreams.

[This message has been edited by cinderella (edited August 04, 2000).]

OK,Drew,
Forget about even"trying"to hurt me.

They may grow'em big and dumb in Nebraska, but here in Washington we're faster and meaner!
It's all that constant rush hour traffic, road rage, and too much Espresso! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I've seen a superviser at work go up and tap a guy on the back to give him his paycheck, and"BOOM",he was on the floor in 2 seconds flat!!
Happens all the time, supervisers are used to it...........

If you come to Seattle, you keep your eyes open, and always be ready to duck, and cover!
I suppose you're one of those conservative, tree-hugger,don't shoot the spotted owl, save the Rainforest types? [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

Only kidding.......I'm a nature lover myself. This used to be a nice city until industry, more people, cars, houses, and pollution moved in.I'll probably move one of these days.
Keep up the good work.........

~~Murph

Um lets sit back a second and survey this comment!
See you "all" maybe faster, but meaner? REALLY? Um I grew up on BEEF, CORN Taters and in a wieght room. Wish I still did that, but hey I still got it...LOL Guess there is a reason I am 6-6 240...LOL..actually that in GENES, but hey whatever works, I Be a Big Boy...LOL
Hard to be a prince in shining armour though Cindirelli! I manage though I promise! LOL
So I will agree with you, you may be a tad bit quicker that I...but Murphy my friend, MEANER...Nah uh! LOL [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Anyway, it is GREAT to see that someone else takes care of the environment. I don't pretend to be a tree hugger, I am the guy that keeps industry clean so those little guys/gals (trees) can grow up big without breathing the "s**t" we breath! Although, I am happy to report, in the select area's that have trees here in Nebraska, they are GREAT!
We are afterall the home of "National Arbor Day" LOL Seriously we are! Kinda cool.
Hey anyone out there got a great lead on jobs wherever you are? I need a change in life now! a big ole move is right up Drew's alley right now!
Printing, Sports Writing, photography, Environmental Services/Consulting, or something in the "service area" [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
According to Gina at least, I am a Yard Stud, so heck, I could travel the country with my Truck towing my mower and assist those in need of a Yard Stud I guess!
Keep ole Drew in mind here friends...LOL
Murph...seriously...how you doing? Feeling better and better now? At least for now?
Give ya s**t, but do care!
Drew [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

quote:
Originally posted by Murphy:
OK,Drew,
Forget about even"trying"to hurt me.

They may grow'em big and dumb in Nebraska, but here in Washington we're faster and meaner!
It's all that constant rush hour traffic, road rage, and too much Espresso! That would be nice.Perhaps a lighthousekeeper on the coast? Something simple.
Jobs in the service industry? You're in luck.I stopped at Burger King, and they had a"Help Wanted" sign out front.
Also,I think Lora is looking for a Yard Stud. She lives by me,but I'm all booked up.
I'm doing OK.Thanks for asking. This divorce thing, along with my folks moving down south, has been on my mind.Amazing how fast life can change, huh? Never been real comfortable with change, but I got forced into it.I'll make the most of it,I guess.
Catch Ya'll later.Take care.

~~Murph [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

hahahahahahaha...Burger King huh. NOT...Hate their Fries, so can't do that Murph!
Now the lighthouse gig, that sounds really good to me! as long as I have power/juice and phone line and a computer..LOL
But I know what you mean with that change thing! MY WHOLE "D" as I look back on it started way back in 98' Lost my dad in 94, and mom in 99, both cancer. That is when I PULLED away from the W and even sisters too!
Mom and Dad gone, support gone, (so I thought) But then the W brings me back, but then loses herself in the mix of it all, even while she is getting me from the depths of that Depression Devil!
Change in that way SUX! Change in what you and I and MANY others on this D Board are going through SUX, but it isn't all bad, change I mean!
I am really read to start my engine again and start over here. I have never lived anywhere else but Nebraska, well Iowa while the W went through Law School, but that doesn't count, only difference is Iowa has corn and pigs, Nebraska has corn and Cattle...LOL
So I am feeling sort of "adventurous" the way I see it, if I am going to get my roots planted AGAIN somewhere else, NOW is the time! I turn 36 in Sept. and ain't gettin' any younger! So best go now!
I know I will NEVER lose the love I have for my STBX, but I also know that I can love again for sure! I feel I have a bit to offer another fine lady, Just need to refocus and jump start this heart again!
Till we chat again! Take care Murph
Is anyone awake tonight? Come and party with me, or at least talk!
Drew [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
