Hi friends,
Most of you know I have 3 daughters. This year for some reason, they have all had some sort of trauma on top of losing their dad right on xmas day.
I almost figured we'd been thru enough and at least my girls were healthy. I was even glad I had the health issue, as I'd take it over them any day.
My two year old daughter started complaining yesterday every time I picked her up, yet she wanted to be held all day. She said her back hurt, her side and her tummy. To gently touch her , she screams. I originally thought she might have to go #2, but that was not it.
This morning she had a very high fever. She couldn't even walk she was so painful. This baby is one of those kids who has energy 24 hours a day, she never stops. I called the doctor who wanted her in at 2, but I went straight in at 9:30 and demanded better.
Her doctor is out, we saw someone I don't know. She almost had to get a catheter, but Thank God for some invention called a urine bag which I put on wrong all day. I did pray for her to go in that and avoid the catheter and that prayer was answered.
The initial tests only show that its not a urinary tract infection/kidney infection (what we hoped for). I ask what this could be and they say well lets run some tests first. What does that mean?
Well, she still has a fever, she is not complaining of pain, because I gave her motrin to help her suffering. More tests were done and now we wait.
Her dad is very strong with this stuff and he will be the one to go back with me because I can't even think straight when these things happen.
When you say prayers tonite, please say one for baby Taylor to recover as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Prayers and hugs,Dana
I'll be praying for all of your family.
A year after my x left, my s had to have bilateral eye surgery. It was rough to have to go through that w/ x around. I know this is tough for you, too.
I do hope they find something easy to deal with. God will be with you and give you the blessings you need.

Thank you all so much for all your prayers and kind words. I am only popping in for a second to say thank you, you guys have brought tears to my eyes.
Just an update, I managed to get her urine bag on right (I am NOT cut out to be a nurse), and it was analyzed.
All we know at the moment...not urinary tract, not bladder, and most likely not contagious.
She has had all her shots, and she has always been the most active kid you ever saw.
No results yet. They take a while and with the weekend here, it may not be til Monday.
Her dad and OW stopped to see her today. She was SO happy to see daddy, asked him to take her with him. He tried to hand her to OW and the baby said..> YOU YUCKY!!
Now you know I have tried hard to maintain a positive relationship with OW not for any other reason but my own well being and healing. I also believe this to be best for my kids. But I will admit, I burst out laughing when she said it. Ex looked at me and started laughing too. OW did NOT laugh. Ummm.... sorry! It seriously was about the funniest thing happening around here in weeks! No I didn't tell her to say it, I never would, although the moment was priceless.
She slept thru the night, but not her mom, and she is on pain reliever now. Still has a fever, and babying her left leg as she walks . By the way, I can't remember ever seeing her walk, she went from crawling to running and I haven't seen much else.
BIG HUG AND PRAYER to all my favorite people, and a reminder that although this affair and all the pain that surrounds it is such a horrible thing, its the children who matter most, and their health is a blessing. If you haven't seen my inspirational story I posted, I happen to have post that before the baby got sick, but its a good one.
Lastly thanks to everyone who sent me cards and emails last night!
Dana
PS To Sheba, Is that candle still going? I remember that from earlier in the year, I'll light mine tonite!

Dana,
I was just coming to check to see if you posted an update on Taylor. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers for sure! I know this is MUCH easier said then done, I don't have children, BUT...don't forget to get some sleep yourself okay! She needs mom to be full strength!
I have to say that I would have done the same thing when your little one said "YOU YUCKY" heck I chuckled a good one when I read it! LOL
Keep a smilin' okay! She will get through this and be that little girl that has all that energy once again soon!
KEEP US POSTED on her progress...and YOURS TOO. Keep Strong!
![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
Drew

Hi Dana -
I have to say that Taylor's "you YUCKY" line was the biggest laugh I have had in weeks, too!!!! LOLOLOL!!! Just picturing it!!!! Priceless!!!!!
How is she doing now? Have you gotten some rest in?
About the candle....yeah, I remember that thread too. I think it was Lostva and CeeCee who were doing that. I have been lighting a special MB candle everynite for over a year......gone through well over a hundred!!
I just say some prayers for us all....and figure the calming energy from it may help.
Fill us in on the little one when you can.
Hugs,
Sheba
Dana,
Try and get some sleep and no how blessed you truly are to have SO many wonderful friends praying for you and your daughter.
When my daughter was 3 we had a similar situation, except it happened on Christmas Day! My parents came over to watch our 4 year old son and off we went to the emergency room, my daughter had a high fever for most of the night, and tepid baths helped to ease the fever. Our car did not have a very good heater and it was freezing out, and apparently the coldness of the car, although we had in wrapped in blankets, helped to bring the fever down because at the hospital they ran all kinds of tests and just like you, everything came up negative.
Get some sleep, even for just a few moments, and know that your daughter is in good hands and with all the prayers being offered up this evening for you and for Taylor, be assured that your entire family is certainly blanketed in love and prayers this night. And what better place to put your family for the night.
Keep us posted, please and God Bless.
Don
