Jonquil - Yes, apparently there are people who marry just to procreate. The only thing is, my husband waited 14-15 years to tell me that small fact!! Anyway, I think it was because of the way he was raised - his mother always told him that having children was the most important thing in life and that you could not have a meaningful or happy life without them, nor was a marriage a "real marriage" unless there were children. I always thought she was just a little eccentric, but I guess she passed it on to her son. She even said to a friend of ours whose wife was pregnant that she (my M-In-Law) was so proud of him now that his wife was pregnant, and he was now a "real man"!!! Unfortunately, she miscarried, so I guess he stopped being a "real man" at that point!! Also, when we told her we wanted to get a dog, she said that we couldn't get a dog, because we didn't even have a child yet!!<P>Anyway, thank you for your kind thoughts. I hope to one day find someone who cares for me because of the person that I am, not because of my reproductive potential. (I'm too old at this point for that anyway!!!) Take care and have a wonderful day!!
