I came into work this morning after a pretty numb evening and saw the support pooring out of my computer. Gosh everyone, I love each of you and without your help this sure would of been a lot harder.
To all of you who will be going through this process, take advantage of all your resources. I mean I was on the phone with family, e-mailing people, and posting in this forum. I needed every person in my support group. Plus let your emotions out, when I got out of court I was still crying so I put on the most depressing music I had and totally got lost in a moment of emotion. When I shed all of the tears that I could shed I felt a state of calmness and sad relief.
(((LivingInLimbo)))) Just embrace the moment when it happens, let your emotions flow, and lean on your support group. I'll be there for you that's for sure.
(((T-L-C))) If, like my wife, his head is still in the fog his won't have much of a reaction. Don't let that stop your reaction.
(((sballplyr))) Thank you and I'm glad that you liked my poetry. I have more that I'll post when I get the time to type them up.
(((idostylin))) I really did feel everyone's prayers yesterday. Please know that a man in Kansas is praying for you and thinking of you.
(((Jayhawk))) It is ok for men to hug, isn't it? From the bottom of my heart thank you. We have a lot in common, the only difference is that I'm behind you on the race track, but I'm sure that I have a lot to learn from you.
(((Sue))) Great advice, I did totally let everything out. When I was done I actually forced myself to cry more. It's amazing how much better I feel today.
(((SoSad.59))) I got that whole we are only technically married speech. Until yesterday, I was married before God and that ain't no technicality. Now I know that I must let her go (1 Cor. 10-13 & 15-16) and I am secure in the fact that when I face my Creator that I will walk through the narrow gates of His kingdom through the narrow gate. May He have mercy upon her.
(((not-holding-my-breath-for-her))) Has a certain ring to it. Sad to say that with the drop of the gavel I left all of my hope in court room. BTW I loved that onion saying.
(((DanaB))) I, too, feel a slight weight lifting and I'm sure that with time it will lift more and more. Also, in my mind the chance for reconsiliation stayed in the court room when I walked out.
(((HopelessAZ))) I'll be there for you when your day comes.
(((BambleRose))) Today I'm choosing not to take the misery option. Thanks.
(((FaithfulWife))) My dear friend thank you. No kleenex's needed today.
(((OvrCs))) I don't know what to say. Your post was absolutely beautiful and even re-reading it brings tears to my eyes. I'll carry that with me and everytime that I start to get down I will re-read it. Thank you, dear.
(((Lady M))) He was with me then and He'll be with forever.
(((Mrs.O))) Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. Please know that they are being sent your direction as well.
(((Nyneve))) Some day when her fog lifts she will experience the pain that I have. The good thing is that I've embraced my pain and am dealing with it NOW.
(((wIftt))) Starting to see the positives and I'm sure with time things WILL BE BETTER.
(((Nell))) Next time I'm in your neck of the woods, I'll bring Jayhawk, and we'll put a good ole Kansas @$$ whoopin on him.
------------------
Love, Bill
-There are none so blind as those who refuse to see!-
-Stand up and do the right thing, even if your standing alone.-
[This message has been edited by LostHusband (edited July 11, 2001).]

Late also. I'm dreading the day. I got paperwork in the mail from my H's attorney today, and that alone choked me up. It's so sad how they just move on into a different life and see us only as horrible people that hurt them, not seeing how they hurt us, and forgetting all the love they once had for us. I'm so glad you got so much support. You deserve it.

Bill,
Of course it is ok for men to hug, it's the grabbing of another guy's [censored] which would be a cause for concern ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif)
I'm glad that all of us could be here for you and for each other during our down times. I don't know what I would have done without this site over the past year. There's a good chance that I may have wound up in a little white jacket and a padded room somewhere!
One of these weekends we will have to meet in Aggieville for a few "sodas" or something.....and the first round is on me! Now its been a while since I was in Manhattan, but if memory serves me correctly, I drive West on I-70 out of KC until I smell it, then I drive North until I step in it! Let me know if this is still correct ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
Now what did you expect from a KU grad?
[This message has been edited by Jayhawk 93 (edited July 11, 2001).]

Dear Bill,
I am sending a <<<<hug>>>>> to you. I am sorry you had to endure through such a difficult time. Your account was so vivid to me that it was scary. I too feel I will be there soon. Now I know what it will look like.
My H goes for an arraignment tomorrow. I think my post on the GQII board is what blew up that site. Just joking or am I!?!?!?! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/shocked.gif)
Anyway, please keep posting and letting us know how you are doing. You have been through soo much. You are the better person and have the respect of many here and abroad. Hope one day, your W will know how valuable a person she gave up.
Take Care,
L.

Well when I went throw it I was still in shock and mortified over what was happining, sorry you had to go through this. The good thing for me was I quickly saw where i stood and had to make a choice to move, I could no longer hold on to what was gone from my life. It has been 8 months this do get better but the pain is still there, I am still at a loss for what happened since I have never gotten any answers. I feel better and happier in many ways, I have had to get out and make new friends and start a new life and it feels good to know I survived. Hang in there it gets better
