Yeah Jacky, I am proud for you@ I know it is quite an achievement to be out on your own with kids! I am struggling now to pull myself together and start making money... since I am starting to go broke... thank goodness, I am still in my home... but going broke! LOL!

quote:
Originally posted by Nina too: I am actually enjoying Plan B...I think that is weird.

I think it shows how ready you were for it. The very thought of him was causing you pain; cutting off contact reduces that.
What's up with not sending your stuff? It can't be cost. Just imagine if none of this had ever happened- he'd still have to pay to ship it back to Australia sometime, when you all returned. Instead, he has to ship it now- no difference. The ability of a WS's brain to turn to complete mush just amazes me sometimes.
I hope you have fun fixing up your new home. I've been spending a fair amount of time on house projects to keep busy (and because they've needed to be done for years), and I really enjoy the feeling of completing something. It's excellent therapy.

dabigtrain,
Actually at the end of the contract, the company will pay SOME of the shipping costs. I agree he is holding out on this...why is the big question.
I emailed him back stating I wanted mostly the piano and the toys. Whether it is vindictiveness or what, I don't know, but he doesn't seem to want to send my piano home. He bought it for me for my 40th birthday. I am getting paranoid that OW plays it!!!! LOL!
Anyway, I am thinking that his inactivity is the fog at work, or he doesn't want to send the stuff cos that is so final. He has always, even from the start of this, been reluctant to send it home.

Jacky,
You are probaby right. My H left 3 model cars that he loved and at least 6 mounted bass (he was a big fisherman, when he was happy)
He only took 2 mounts with him and once when I asked about it, he said there was a reason for that....
Like you I think it is more of a finality thing. Even if it is what they want, it still hurts to think of it ending. They would prefer to have the safety net to fall back to.
Talk about fog!!!!!
Have a great weekend! PP
ps. If you get a chance this weekend, check out the thread on GQII about separation being lonely. I sort of hi-jacked it by mistake but would love to get your opinion on my current thinking. You have been with me through thick and thin and I like to hear your honest opinions. Thanks! Lynn
