my w and i plan to see a sex therapist to improve our so called sex life. i'm wondering what i might expect from a sex therapist. have any of you ever gone to a sex therapist? what was it like. where you helped? any suggestions.

I went to one (due to vaginal pain.) She was actually a Nurse Practitioner as well. I found it to be THE absolute most help with my problem. <P>I hope it's helpful to you!

still not much experience with this by members of this forum. i think this may say a lot. all over these boards people discribe all kinds of problems with sex in their relationships. yet, only one person has had any experience with a therapist.<BR>i wonder why that is so.<BR>could it be that no one is taking their sexual problems seriously enough to see a therapist?<BR>when i go to one, and i will- my w and i that is, i'll tell all of you all about it.<BR>i may be starting something here.
