What do I want for Christmas?

Ok, here goes:

I want Santa to put a pair of ear-muffs complete with ear plugs in my stocking so that I no longer have to listen to my lawyer drone on senselessly about things I really don't even understand and can't answer. Do they have ear-muffs with radios so I wouldn't be bored as well??

I want the lawsuit to be over so I can finally buy my house, but in the interim, I'd settle for Santa putting some tile under the tree for me to redo the bathroom of the house I'm in ~ Carpet in bathrooms is really NOT a bright idea, in my opinion.

I would very much like a leatherbound copy of Shakespearean sonnets to read while I'm listening to my new library of misc. operas and musicals. Of course, I'd have to sing along!

I would like a new basketball hoop so I could play ball with the kids and a bike so we could all ride (I sold mine to give my H a computer screen many moons ago).

I would really like to be able to get my kids the stuff they wanted so that they would be distracted from the heartache in my home. As I can't get them everything, though, I'm going to settle for Lilo and Stitch with lots of Barbie on the side!

I'd like Santa to deliver a great, big ol' stinkbomb to my neighbors who don't like pets and are trying to get the city to take away my kid's puppies (who, by the way, are very well taken care of and the city said they're not going to do anything to! lol).

Most of all, I'd like my kids to feel safe and secure this Christmas. Their little worlds are upside down and I would give anything if Santa could send me a manual on how to make THAT problem disappear. As it is, if he'd leave a roaring fire for us to wake up to on Christmas morning (and maybe a pre-cooked breakfast so we could all nibble together... I'm thinking donuts??? lol), I'd send him a lovely thank you card.

Thanks for the thread, Cinderella... this was fun!

Wow! I happened to stop by to read a little on MB and saw this old thread....How in the world do year old threads get resurrected???

It is weird going back and reading what I wanted last year. Funny too! I got everything I wanted. Ex got a job first, I got one after Christmas, and the children had a very good Christmas. It made me smile reading it.

So....What do I want this year????...I want what I already have.
